e12 4pot vs e24 single vs aftermarket caliper
Hi, I'm working on an e12 based 635csi and am the point of running brake lines from new master cylinders on Wilwood pedal box...one master cylinder for the rear and one split twice and then twice again for the fronts. I've done a search on this forum and am I correct in assuming a rebuilt set of 4po...

Re: Unwanted visitor
Modern vehicles suffer as well...our new Toyota Prado has a 'Pollen Filter' and apparently the sweetness attracts rodents... and they ate through the filter and continued with the wiring loom!!

Re: e12 rear suspension e28 upgrade
I've found a m535 e28 subframe and am waiting for delivery of e32 735i trailing arms which will fit. Makes the rear suspension 8mm wider each side and has the large knuckle hub which will be better for high hp end goal. so hopefully when it all appears and gets sandblasted and painted itll all just ...

e12 rear suspension e28 upgrade
I'm currently in the middle of building an e12 based coupe that will have a forced induction motor. As part of this upgrade I have managed to source a couple of large case lsd diffs (3.07 & 3.45) and am now looking into upgrading the rear subframe, driveshafts/hubs and suspension to enable the e...

Re: Engine swap

Also having trouble finding a headgasket... tho I'm trying to get a vulcan cut-ring from SCEGaskets.... i have tried to get in contact with them via their website but no reply as yet..anyone else tried ...

Engine swap
Given the difficulty in tracking down M90 engine components and the large amount of M30B34/35 parts available does the later block have the same mounting points in the engine bay? Ignoring electrical and ancileries does the motor physically just slot onto the crossmember engine mounts?
thanks
Hamish

Brake booster (bomb) replacement
So I've jumped in the deep end and pulled the M90 out of my RHD 1981 E12chassis 635CSI... with a project to rebuild engine and make it go faster..just like everyone else. However the glaringly obvious thing is, now the engine is out the Twin brake boosters (one for the front and one for the front an...

Re: Motorsport Downunder...are they under?
No reply to enquiries on Gumtree either. Shame. Are there any plans/dimensions for building headers available? Otherwise I'll be reinventing the wheel or at least not learning from others mistakes.

Motorsport Downunder...are they under?
I've been looking for headers for an early E24 and the closest to NZ that does RHD headers seems to be Motorsport DownUnder...but contacting them is a bit deadended at the moment...does anyone in Aussie know if they're closed up? Are there any alternatives in Aussie as the market there is certainly ...

new project for me, with lots of help from you!
Ok, so I've bought my project car which i posted pictures ofa month or so back....the white '86 with Msport stripes on the nose and Alpinas. Now I've also decided that in the short term I shall add a turbo and manual gearbox as well as change the seats from pinky-dirty cream to black. So far nothing...

Re: New to forum!
I'm not sure when the stripes were added but they are painted rather than vinyl or transfer so I'm guessing a while ago. side skirts are detatched in some areas so will have to work out how to get them fixed, it looks like they just push on? Is rear standard M6 as well?

New to forum!
Hello all, although I've been a casual visitor here for a long time it is only in the last couple of weeks that I've been able to get hold of a decent sharknose. I've yet to go through it fully with a list of things to do but it runs and drives after being in storage for many years, so that's a grea...
