Thanks a lot, brother. That was extremely helpful and those clips are the last pieces I needed to call my interior 100%!

Looking for a set of interior b-pillar top plastic clips
Hey guys, as the title states I’m looking for a set of the b-pillar interior clips, in either light grey or black that will fit an 88 car. See attached photo for reference on what I’m talking about. Can’t seem to find them anywhere online. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!!

Re: What did you do to your E24 today?
Just got the car back from the shop where the rear self-leveling shocks were replaced along with the brake bomb. While in I also had the trans resealed, the front timing cover done, valve cover gasket, rear prop seal, front wishbones and front straight arms replaced. Lots of work! Car runs and corne...

Weird brake issue, wondering if anyone has experienced this?
Happy weekend friends! So Friday I took my car out for a long drive to burn off the old gas, and I noticed something strange with the brakes. The brakes were working fine for most of my 40mile trip, but twice I had something strange happen. I would be on the highway, put my foot on the brake pedal, ...

Re: how many 635's have you encounter? (Encountered)
Brought my car to Guten Parts in South Orange NJ to get some work done on one of the seats and saw a TON of dream rides (a few clown shoes and a sweet orange 2002 roundie). Also saw a fellow 6er getting some serious engine work done. Not sure who the owner is but it looked awesome!

Re: new guy saying hello....
Thanks so much everyone! Well I’m back today with an update. I managed to get a set of style 42 BBS on the car today and it’s a much needed improvement. Bonus, I got to take a long hard look at the undercarriage of the car while it was up on the lift, and there is zero visible rot. The car was from ...

Re: What do you think the best looking rims are for the shark?
OK, I’m back. Managed to get the new wheels on so I’m adding to this post again. These are 17x8 et20 BBS Style 42 from a 5 series. The centers were taken out and powder coated anthracite grey, and the outer barrels were machine polished. Sitting on the same tires as above, continental contis. I thin...

Re: new guy saying hello....
Thanks so much for the welcome guys! I really appreciate it and I’ll defintely post up some more pics once the new wheels are on. They’re sitting in the garage and once I can get a break from work I’ll get them installed. Side note, does anyone have a good source for a small bottle of oem touch up p...

Re: WTB 88 plastic engine cover piece and passenger side mirror
Thanks so much Ken! Looks like that was resolved quickly.
Only other thing I need for this car is the passenger side mirror, the one I have is cracked across the glass and it makes it difficult to see with it. If anyone has one please reach out. Thanks!

WTB 88 passenger side mirror
Hello all,
Like the title states, I’m looking to buy an excellent shape passenger side view mirror (Just need the glass itself, don’t care about the housing or connecting parts).

new guy saying hello....
Hey guys, Just wanted to post up a quick intro thread to say hello. I just recently picked up an 88 635csi, and through research it seems like this is the best forum on the net for these cars so I’ve been lurking through posts for the last few weeks. I’ve been into classic cars for many years and ha...
