Re: All good things must come to an end...

Gosh just read the news ! First up thanks so much for what you have done. As a relatively new owner this has, and I hope will remain, an invaluable resource. I dont have the technical skills to take it on but maybe an annual fee would help motivate someone who could support it ? My reasoning is that...

Re: !986 M635csi RHD - #328

Well headlight wipers aside it's pretty much drive time ... Seemed as pity to waste lockdown so the hand polish I'd been delaying is finally done. Paint was touched up, chips no panels. Buffalo leather has drunk litres of conditioner, couple of wheels refinished. so lucky there is no rust anywhere. ...

Headlight wiper wiring

Hi - I've tried but can't find this in the ETM. Im trying to reinstate the wipers on my M635 - the last non working part. Someone disconnected them in the past leaving the orginal reservoir, the wiper hardware fitted and hopefully best of all the relay snuggly tucked away where it should be. So ... ...

Re: Ceramic Coating

I've used Feynlab ceramic coating on both a Porsche and Mercedes. Paint rather than wheels.

Really good shine, water roll's off and as the cars live undercover with little need for washing it's lasted a long time (3 years) so far.

Re: Electric Headrest Fault

Caveat - I have the sport seats ... however I had similar symptoms on the passenger seat. The head rest wouldn't move up or down. I removed the motor - with cable drive still attached to the headrest mechanism. And with the cable straighten out it worked ! Twisting it various ways (as the drive cabl...

OK on the presumption that "what did I do to the car today" can stretch out over the last few months - and much of it with help I have ... Replaced the engine mounts, steering idler bush, all brake hoses, front rotors, pistons and pads, accelerator cable (had to be made as RHD), Clutch hose and slav...

Hi should a RHD M635 have this ?

There are a couple of studs below the radiator cross member - wondering why they might be there (appear to have not been used - as still painted). Regards Julian
