Re: Indicators, RH side fine, Left works, then doesn't then work ...
Curiously by leaving it with my son to use for a week or two the problem has gone away ... He found a brake light wasn't working (warning did illuminate on check thingy), possibly because i'd had them out for a fiddle ... but the indicators had reverted to "normal operations". A twist of t...

Re: Indicators, RH side fine, Left works, then doesn't then work ...
Many thanks guys. i'll take up your suggestions when back home next week. Yes all 3 lights are affected. nothing shows on the check panel. I do have the ETM but electrics beyond the basics are not my strength :) I have tried taking bulbs out in turn to see if there is any change. Sadly there wasn't....

Indicators, RH side fine, Left works, then doesn't then work ...
Hi - had my first issue today. Turning right. No issue. Turning left. Works ok at first. Then speeds up dramatically for a couple of seconds (clicking continues- albeit faster but lights extinguish) and then they goes back to normal before repeating (irregularly). Radom timing, sometimes its quite a...

Re: What did you do to your E24 today?
I got a new gas tank and lines fitted - the last of the list of jobs and a consequence of it sitting unused for so long prior to my ownership.
Also a wheel alignment. Didn't think it was bad but it's hugely better. Lighter and more direct. Best NZD $90 I've spent (the tank cost rather more....)

Re: Wood steering wheels.
I have a Nardi wood wheel on my Interceptor convertible. It suits the car style IMHO. Don't think it'd suit my M635.
Only time its not so good is middle of summer and hands are hot/sweaty before AC kicks in or roof is dropped. Cheers Julian

Apologies, my bad. Classic & Sports car - an English magazine, I've seen them for sale in the US. My copy is at home in NZ (I'm not) so not 100% what month, guessing Sept.

Sorry, I don't think it is really the done thing to post current articles that people pay for. That payment in turn goes toward paying the people that create the work in the first place (I would not be so righteous over older work). Regards

Re: Front Strut Brace for 1988 M6 - Racing Dynamics Interference
The strut I bought also needed a tweak. Tho not as much as the (poor quality sorry) photo attached makes it look.
Came from the "B2D shop" in the UK (Description; steel drift race motorsport front strut brace bar E28 E24 M6)
GBP 100 delivered to home in NZ was a bargain.
