Could you please add some details how can this be done?
A photo would be great!
Thanks!

Re: Molding removal
Thanks so much, I will try my best!
I am lucky to potentially have access to another parts car, so might have a second chance!

Molding removal
I am soon going to repaint my '85 635csi, bringing it back to original Burgundy color. I have a dilemma on removing or just taping the trim that goes along the roof edge above the doors and rear window. I read somewhere that it is very hard to remove it without bending/damaging it. Does someone here...

Re: Clutch/flywheel compatibility
Yes, but Item#10 that is the whole clutch set #21219069012 seems to be the same for 633 built after 3/1984....really strange?!

Clutch/flywheel compatibility
Hi, I have a possibility to buy a complete re-surfaced flywheel and clutch with all associated components (pressure plate, pilot bearing) from 1984 633. 1) Would that complete '84 633 setup fit to my 1985 635 with G265 gearbox? 2) Would 1984 633 have a lighter flywheel than my 1985 635 or they would...

Re: FS: m30b33 engine, trans, megasquirt, wideband O2
Hi,
I would be really interested in MS plus harness, possibly some sensors.
Have a 102 turbo setup lined for my car so this could be really perfect for me.
Please email me if you would be willing to sell just that!

Re: Normal coolant temperature
Hi, I wanted to post the update, good as a reference for others. I did another good system flash and installed new water pump. Then I filled the system with blue Zerex , but at lower concentration as there is no freezing here. Did roughly 1/4 Zerex concentrate and 3/4 distilled water. Car is now coo...

Re: Normal coolant temperature
Thanks for all the comments, they make sense. Re. radiator replacement, would a nissen brand commonly available for +/-$200 be good option or would it make sense to "upgrade" to full aluminum versions available on e-bay? Asking this as I am planning to turbo-charge the car in the future (a...

Re: Normal coolant temperature
Thanks, I think I will try changing a water pump next; already got a spare on my shelf. Radiator would be more expensive option; there is a Nissen radiator in the car, so was replaced sometime by PO; not sure when. I am really not sure if this behavior was always there or not....when I got my car fe...

Normal coolant temperature
Hi, I am trying to confirm if my 85 635 is actually running hot or if it is normal temperature. In normal, light load, AC not on, I am just under the middle mark on the gauge; looks perfect. Once the load increases (AC on or longer up-hill, driving at higher rpm's) it climbs up to 2/3, maybe even 3/...

BBS BMW RC090 face (center)
Hi, looking for just one BBS RCo90 wheel center / face.
Do not need the rims or any bolts/hardware, just one center as mine got damaged when cheap Amazon wheel lugs snapped/bent.
Please contact me on [email protected]
Thanks, Robert

Re: UUC Swaybars
Hi, the photo from the web does not really show the bars I got; they also advertise 3 position adjustments holes in the front while bars I got have 2 positions front and rear. Here are couple of photos showing the bushing bracket I got with the bars next to my stock mounts (front and rear). It clear...

Re: UUC Swaybars
Yes, was aware of that, I got the non-M once. It seems I will have to cut my mounts from the car and weld M-style on the front while really not sure how to solve the rear once. The supplied rear bushings/brackets are WAY bigger than stock (actually same size as on the front) and there is really no p...

UUC Swaybars
Is there someone that successfully mounted UUC sway bar set? I got a set of their 27mm front / 22mm rear sway bars including adjustable front links and bushings with brackets. It all looks really well made but really do not understand how is one supposed to mount much larger, 2 bolt hole brackets on...

Re: Early calipers for vented rotors
So, would 745 calipers fit early E24 / E12 and offer possibility to use thicker rotors?

Re: Short Shift Kit
Hi, thanks a lot, I would love to buy your UUC lever but I already ordered the one from UK yesterday :( Since my car is '85 with G265 trans it has a sheet metal shift console so will not even need a large aluminum bushing. Jose, I agree with you about not supporting knock-off's, but was not ready to...

Short Shift Kit
Hi, has anyone maybe tried this kit sold by UK seller on eBay: https://www.ebay.com/itm/BMW-E36-E39-E46-Z3-Z4-M-SHORT-SHIFTER-QUICK-GEAR-KIT-SHIFT-E24-E28-E30-E34/322293721774 I was looking into sourcing a Z3 lever but this is actually half price of Z3 levers and looks exactly like IE kit, just at m...

Strange washer
While replacing the battery I did a little cleanup and touch up paint around battery try area. In process I also removed temporary large bolt that holds bumper shock absorber to chassis rail. After all was done I found under the car a very large spring-washer that I can not figure out where it belon...

Re: Spax lowering kit
So, as promised, here are the pictures and photos with Spax kit installed. image005.jpg image001.jpg I feel that rear is maybe slightly high; seems front dropped a bit more, but this is now with empty fuel tank. Somehow, the right side of the car is little bit (8mm) higher than left. Springs and sho...

Re: Spax lowering kit
Hi, I did not get any yet, but am planning to get a set machined. The ready ones are available from AKG, but unfortunately they do not offer any additional camber. https://www.akgmotorsport.com/product/bump-steer-correction-strut-spacers-for-bmw-e28-and-1983-e24/ The once I posted picture from are n...

Re: Spax lowering kit
So, finally all installed, drop was as advertised, about 35mm; it does seam like the front drooped slightly more than rear which is nice as it gives me the place to add front fixed camber plates to the top of the struts. I checked the wheel camber after lowering and it is 2-3 degree on the rear (one...

Re: Spax lowering kit
Thanks for reminder, will definitely make sure to pre-load the suspension before tightening control arms. Finished pouring the 2-part Urethane into the bushings and they came out really nice; now hope the extra stiffness this ads to normally very open bushings will not cause some unexpected problems...
