The 85-87 US models should all have the same chin spoiler that takes these.

Re: '87 Fog light source

My previous post, those lights are for a Euro car. But I am pretty certain I found an alternative. https://asaabforever.com/saab-parts/9529900-2x/ I bought a single lens off EBAY and it fit. I just went a head and ordered this pair and I will report how they work. I can now confirnm that these Saab...

Fog Lights for 85-87 US Models FOUND

HI All. I have found a solution for those of us with these NLA foglights. It seems that Hella did in fact use these in other cars, Specifically Early Saab 9000s and 900 Aeros. https://asaabforever.com/saab-parts/9529900-2x/ Is the full kit fior both sides. $99 I bought a pair and the lenses are a pe...

Re: Floor mat suggestions for Llama interior

HI Bob, thanks!
I was wondering about black. I'm just not a huge fan of the carpets with BMW under the heel. I feel like it should be further back and turned 90 degrees. I may go with a set of cocmats in the black/natural color combo.
Yeah i hope we can make a get together work out this fall.

Floor mat suggestions for Llama interior

I have 85 with diamondblack/llama. The original floor mats are long gone. Currently there is a set of cocomats it the car, but they are getting tired especially on the drivers side. BMW Llama mats appear to be NLA. So I'm looking for suggestions. Thanks!

Follow the link in my previous post. It will help you to diagnose the issue. It helped me when I had a vacuum leak last fall.

Re: Stranger starting issue once warmed up, please help?

When it wont start, does it fire a few cylinders and then die, or does it not start at all? Does giving a little throttle help? How does it run otherwise? and how is the idle? It could be the idle control valve staying open, or possibly another vacuum leak. Another phenomenon is a heat soak where th...

Re: TRX Tires Not So Bad

I can confirm that a new set of 390 TRX are just under $1600 when you include shipping and install as of March 2019. When I bought the car it was 1000 miles away and needed new rubber for the drive home. It was quicker, easier and overall cheaper to get a new set of TRXs than to find a good set of r...

Adding Footwell lights

As we all know the interior lighting is lackluster in the 6. I was thinking of adding some courtesy/accent lights in the front footwells. I want to use these little LEDs, one on each side. https://www.superbrightleds.com/moreinfo/led-wired-bolts/bolt-beam-12mm-led-light/1494/3433/ Ive already found ...

I am about to get into this project on my car and wondering about all the pieces. If i understand correct I need two pieces, the short one 990mm (54121870086) and the long one 1440mm (54121933203). But what about the single one 2370mm (54121972055)? is it actually too short? ECS Tuning lists them al...

Re: Proper Use for TRX tires

220/55vr390 is the size. they are now listed at $330 but when I bought them last MArch they were $298. so all in with shipping and install is was about $1600 or $400/tire installed. Its alot of $ yes, but changing rims would have added more money. Ultimately no its not the cheapest or the best perfo...

mine do this too. Especially bad if you close the door with the window halfway down. Less bad if the window is all the way down and almost none if the window is all the way up
