Re: Crank, no start.

Check all grounds.

Specifically the engine ground. Grab a jumper cable and jump from the engine to body and see if she cranks.

I opted to skip the splines, they are an absolute pain to install.

I bought my hardware from https://ewheelworks.us/pages/shop

Good guy. The conversion kit, while a bit expensive looks great on these wheels!

Re: No Spark 85 635csi - TRIED EVERYTHING

I know you said you checked engine grounds, but did you bypass the existing one? I had this problem and everything seemed fine on the multi meter but once I cliped a jumper cable from the engine to chassis she fired right up.

Re: Remove centre console panel

So whole console has to come out and then the plastic is screwed to that? its held in with like 4 screws. Not too bad. Removing the center console is bad though. You can do it in about 30 minutes once you know where the screws are. Yes the whole console has to come out. To get the upper part out yo...

Re: Alternate replacement seats

I have e30 sport seats in. I have seen people do e36 & e46 as well.

They are not bolt up but they do fit with some simple custom mounts.

Re: Ventilation

Sounds like a bad heater control valve. They work well at idle and not while driving.

Consider replacing it with alternative solutions like the e46 one, the OEM and aftermarket of the e28/e24 ones are awful.

Re: glass sunroof E24 factory equipment

I did a bunch of research on this a while back. never got anywhere. I was told there is a volvo that is plug and play but I took my tape measure to the yard and could not find any of the 80's and 90's ones with the same dimensions. I am sure I missed one though. the e28 shared one with a saab so don...

The average American is fed up with politics and the entire thing.

The reason he is in the news lately is the various legal cases that are closing in on him.

I just avoid the news.

YIKES!

Could have been way worse.

I recently pulled out of my driveway and saw a pool of fuel. Replaced all the hoses but now I disconnect the battery after every drive too.

if you're selling spare parts in ATL let me know.

Unfortunately, it's the only car that uses it. and unfortunately it's almost impossible to remove just the clear part.

Best bet is to buy a cluster from a dismantler.

A lot of people do it as a dash repair method.

Not very OEM looking though. Works better in a race car build.
