One of my cages shattered after the bearings in the blower motor went. Does anyone sell just the plastic cages?
Thanks!

Re: ABS Issue / Question
I've been told the reluctor ring is a common issue. My light is on, but brakes work perfectly.

Re: Transmission Fluid Leak
Ended up being the transmission pump seal. Dropped the unit, replaced it along with the rear main seal on the engine and reinstalled. All clear now.

Transmission Fluid Leak
Hello Coupers, Today I washed my 6 and drove around the block to coax the remaining water out of crevices. Anyway, I made it about 1.5 miles and noticed it slipped, which it has never done. (60k miles) I made it to my office where I was stopping in for a moment and a bit of smoke appeared. It seems ...

She’s back among the living!
I replaced the rotor button, cap, crank sensor on the front, and the 2 in the bell housing. Tapped the key and she fired right up!
Next up, start changing fluids.

Re: 85' 635csi | Cranks but no Spark
Checked the reference & speed sensors which have both seen better days. Neither offered up any readings on the ohm meter as pointed out in the above pdf/manual. I checked the harness side of the car on the sensors and they are getting power. I did replace the rotor, which was also ready for the...

Re: 85' 635csi | Cranks but no Spark
Correct. They are the same part. Another question: Do I have 2 pulse generators / CPS? If so that means I'd need (3) of the above part number. 1 as reference sensor (bell housing) 1 as speed sensor (idk yet) 1 as pulse generator on the front of the engine I just ordered 2 as I'm not getting any res...

It turns over / cranks like a champ to eliminate that question. Just nothing after that.

My biased opinion is that these shades of red are the best on these. Can't believe it's my first red car in 41 years of life.

Outstanding looking machine! WOWWWWW.
I'd love to swap wheels on mine as I love the style you're running, but I think I'm going to keep this car as delivered with the miles on it. It's going to be tough to not mess with it.

85' 635csi | Cranks but no Spark
Greetings Gang, I've recently purchased an e24 and have just given it a bath for the first time since 1996, and cleaned the interior. I really love the color & styling of these cars. I've wanted one for awhile and this one fell in my lap. Anywho - under the hood it's clear someone has done some ...

She's a barn find of sorts from my hometown. Acquired it jut 2 weeks ago with 60,301 miles. The interior is like a time capsule, and the exterior is in great shape. Last inspection was in 2000, tags 1995. Looking forward to learning more about the E24 and getting her running.
