Might be dumb but: Did you try to swap both connectors when the sensors are? Those 2 which goes to gearbox bell? Did you bought OEM/ Bosch? We did some work from September, mainly we were looking why car didn't start. First we thought that it was something with flywheel as it was the only custom non original Bmw part.. Then we discovered that it was pin for motronic on the flywheel which was too short. We fixed that but still no luck ht...

So the car now is cranking but that's all. Don't get the spark and fuel. Electrician guy opened the engine wiring loom as there are some bad wires.. So he is replacing them now.. Thank you! I'm not sure about Remotec, they were in really bad shape so they were long time ago a pass for me. Replaced it for BBS RC90 with 8J/9J setup. Now we still don't know for sure why the car won't start. What I realised a few days ago and I really hope that this is the reason why won't start...

There is a start inhibitor switch in an auto box that is not in a manual gearbox. The wires for this switch in the loom near the gearshifter need terminating to allow the starter to fire.
