Re: Racing Dynamic RGP Wheels

Plus 3 on that, I was wondering the same thing :-?

IIRC, the only chassis that has a different bore is the E39 at 74.1 mm :-k

Pus there's hubcentric rings available to address that potential issue =D>

Re: Of Performance Chips and Thermostats

I don't have any advice regarding a T'stat/performance chip combo, but I do have some thoughts about using a T'stat with a lower opening temperature than stock :-k 80 degrees C was stock in mine (MY80) but I went to a 75 degree until some years ago, the last time I performed coolant service :-" And ...

Re: Rebuilding cost for 17" BBS RC

Tommy, aren't those one-piece wheels :-k I don't think widening them is possible, unlike 2 or 3-piece wheels :-({|= My experience with repairing curb rashed wheels is only at Wheel Techniques in Santa Clara. The last time I talked to them about refinishing wheels, it was $190 each, no matter when yo...

Re: Shift knob

Paul, on the underside of my Momo shift knob is a threaded collar. Not sure if yours has this, but if yes, try and unthread it, which would reveal the set screws that secure it in place on the shifter [-o<

Maybe post a photo :-k

I can do the same =D>

Thanks Gregg, really appreciate it =D> The front brace was from BMP Design, alas they have gone the way of the dodo as well :( Those end pieces could use some refinishing as well, just not sure what to do with them yet, as they appear to have been chromed, back in the day :-? Removing the old glue, well, let me start by admitting that this is the THIRD time I have done this job ](*,) The first 2 was with that Mylar faced crap, and the only "good" thing about it is that the adhesive came off with the pads, as it was "peel and stick", not spray contact adhesive, like the C...

Hey, I resemble that remark #-o

But it's true that it affects the potential sale of new vehicles in 2035, but we will be able to keep our beloved 6ers on the road =D>

But since this issue is really global, I really wonder how much effect this ban will have :-k
