Re: Ex LOCUTUS the fun and pain begin

Ouch, talk about a pain in the neck :-&

And, my bad, my photo is of an oil temp sensor, not pressure sensor

My apologies, ya think I might be able to actually read

Bottom line, with the oil cooler feed lines connecting into the oil filter mount, this wouldn't work anyway [-X

Ah, Pod, sorry, you guys do have very different modules in the UK  Here's a pic of a 1985 Motorsport I broke a few years ago  But still, isn't it possible that the ///M logo could just be added :-? baders, if you don't have an oil cooler, you can put the sensor as seen in the photo below

However, if you have an ///M, think you probably have a cooler :-?

Re: Hazard lights keep flashing

If the hazard switch does not remain in the off or "inner" position, it's very possible that the switch itself is causing this problem :-k Try holding the switch in, to see if the flashers go out. If they do, then you will know it's the switch [-o< There's a procedure for how to repair these, can't ...

Re: Style 4 wheels

I think there are other E38 wheels that are 8x16 ET23 as well, and they require a small spacer up front, as the tires will foul the strut tubes otherwise :-? This "could" be dependent on your choice of tire size, 225/50 would be optimal, and I don't think you could "stretch" 205/55's on 8" wide whee...

Been running the same exact combination of wheel and tires sizes and offsets for years, without issue :-" You could still opt for the 265/40's out back if you're really concerned about the slightly reduced diameter of the 255's, they are only 10mm wider, although the issue of accelerated wearing of ...
