Re: Lubricating the windshield wiper arm system with?

Here's a shot of part of the linkage, this is not something you would see under the hood (or cowl area) without some digging  But you can see that these pivot points would need some sort of lube that penetrates, don't think any type of grease is gonna do the trick :-? I also discussed this wit...

Re: Lubricating the windshield wiper arm system with?

Seriously, crickets :-?

Geez, I expected some sort of recommendations, thinking I'll use something on the lighter side, don't want to gum things up :-k

I've got Tri-Flow, thoughts [-o<

Lubricating the windshield wiper arm system with?

Hi guys, Finally getting to some projects on the green beast, I'm replacing the rubber grommets that go around the shafts that come up through the cowl, and getting the visible parts powder coated, long overdue =D> So, what's recommended for lubricating the arm system pivot points :-k And while I'm ...

Hey Pablo, given the shadowline treatment you have done to your M6, think I would suggest something like this, think it was called hyper black or black chrome, something like that :-?

Sadly, don't have these wheels anymore #-o

Re: WTB Rear Lower Spring Perch for e28 based Bilsteins

Tazzarti, I've got this pair, but I would presume that they are for E12 based, as that's what I have and would not likely have any E28 based parts :-?

I put the steel tape there so that you can see the inner diameter [-o<

Hey smash, moving your thread to the "Mechanical" forum, likely to get more hits there [-o<

The workshop forum really doesn't address these types of questions :-k

Might want to start one in the "Project" forum instead

Well, once you get started

Fanatic, gonna move your thread to the "Exterior" forum, think you'll get more responses there, as this forum is really just for workshop stuff, what type of compressor do I need, or which lift, that sorta stuff =D>

Congrats Don =D> Did the same thing a little over a year ago, although I worked "only" 42 years, post college graduation, that is  I have to admit that while we moved during the past year and the new (to us) house has kept me quite busy, I do enjoy not having to do the daily grind anymore \:D/...

Adios 528i, HELLO X5 :)

Well folks, it was finally time to replace the 528i, a 2011 F10 that served us (the missus, actually #-o ) very well over the last 7+ years =D> She had her heart set on getting back into an SUV (SAV for us BMW people :-? ) and while I was trying to talk her into an X3, it had to be an X5 :-" After a...

Re: FS: BMW Classic Motorsports - Hood Badge

Hey Rick, this appears to be smooth on the top side and not an overlay :-k I have a set of these that I was hoping to use, but they are separate and overlayed onto the roundels :-? I was gonna try and "make" my own with standard roundels and these overlays, but I doubt that it would look very offici...
