Re: 1984 633CSi Rises again!

Roger, this is true, and actually a very good point =D> For the USofA cars, indeed the headlights need to be on, in order for the fog lamps to work :-k In addition, if you turn on the high beams while the fogs are on, they will turn off ](*,) Silly DOT, surely some of this can be bypassed, but Song,...

Re: Gimmick? Or worth while...

Washed the missus' 5er yesterday morning and did use the dual bucket method, albeit without the dirt trap, but wow, surprised how much cleaner the soap bucket stayed  Gonna buy one of these traps, but most of my buckets won't fit the trap from Chemical Guys :-k Guess it's off to Lowe's, what ...

Tazzarti, if Carl doesn't have a fuel level sender, I can provide one to you =D> 2. Fuel level sender Photos below, it was removed from my '80 in the hopes that the replacement would cure my erratic fuel level gauge, when the level got below 1/4 :-? Alas, it's an issue with the gauge itself ](*,) So...

First stop was the old schoolhouse in the town of Bodega, which was in one of the movie scenes 8)

We took over the street in front of the schoolhouse, 3 cars wide, 34 in all

I think the schoolhouse was built in 1871 or something like that :-k

Re: 1979 euro spec e24 635csi For Sale

Great color Agreed, and I should know #-o I'll be following this one, although I don't see much evidence that it is in fact a 635, slushbox (no dogleg manual tranny), no rubber ducky rear spoiler, etc. :-? VIN does come up as 635 using realoem, but as we all know, they aren't always dead accurate :...

Well Ken, not "exactly" neighbors :-? Song is a bit misleading in that he indicates his location as Silicon Valley, but he actually lives "over the hill" toward the coast, so technically not in SV, like I am :-k In fact, we've only met once, at Canepa, an amazing restoration shop and museum in his h...

Song, can you mask the entire panel good enough so that you can reshoot the whole thing :-k

Appears that you can sand and polish that area for ever, but it's never gonna appear like the rest of the panel [-X
