Pod, not a problem, in fact, maybe this should be posted in the "useful links" section :-k Which, as a board moderator, I can do for you =D> Ron could do that as well, if he's not too busy telling new members to post their location in their profile #-o Good stuff by the way, Big Coupe is even refere...

Not to highjack this thread, but I do have a question for Brucey, more of a clarification :-? here's the quote [-( However the #1 thing to do is to reset the throttle body so that there is a 0.020" clearance under the butterfly on the idle stop. Hmm, looks pretty close to the sway bar there Roger, how much of that slot is left in the diff mount :-k

Interesting though, that the car rides higher now, good job, most likely well needed =D>

Re: Advice needed for suspension upgrade kit

Fanatic, regarding this quote, it's my understanding that while Billy may not have listed the pre-82 E24 chassis fitment, these do exchange freely with the E12 528i/530i chassis :-k Do you know why 34-000243 and 24-007306 (B6) in the link that you've provided don't have pre-82 E24 in the list of com...

Re: Advice needed for suspension upgrade kit

Good idea but he's got a series I chassis, E12 based, so those springs won't work :( Fanatic, I think that ST springs will lower more than 1", is that what their website says :-k Again, that's what I'm running \:D/ As far as finding B8 (Sport) version for the E12 chassis, you may have to go the used...

Hakeem, that doesn't sound right :-k I know for a fact that my '80 can flash the high beams by pulling on the turn signal stalk, just as you described, without having the low beams on  In fact, back in the day, when seeing another BMW on the road was a rare event, flashing the high beams was al...

Re: Advice needed for suspension upgrade kit

Hi Andy, welcome to the madness, nice looking example =D> In general, if you are going to use Bilstein Sports, you will need to also purchase a set of lowering springs, as they are designed for use with shorter springs :-" But as your goal is to lower the car, or at least the rear end, you will need...

Re: FS 5X120 17x8.5 bbs RC090 2pc WHEELS with matching spare $1500 longisland ny

nyc6, since the tires aren't mounted, you might want to consider leaving them out of the deal, as they are way too short for use on a 6er anyway :-k The standard tire on these wheels for 6er fitment would be 235/45's, 215/40's just aren't right :-({|= As you've been trying to move these for quite a ...
