Re: masonjones - Negative
I understand first come first serve and have no problems with that. In this case we were well into the transaction. We settled on a price and I asked how do you want the money. He told me paypal would probably be best but wanted me to wait until he verified the shipping. I told him that was fine. He...

Re: E12 based car
You can not put e28 shocks and springs in e12 strut housings. The spring perches are different, the shock mounts are different, ect. You might be able to put a complete e28 suspension in an e12. I am talking about everything from the subframe up.

Re: 84 EH Transmission limp mode
The information is somewhere. I got the transmission info on hot wiring it from ZF in CT but they only know the transmission not the car. These cars do not have OBD so I can't hook a computer to it. The US information is readily available. I want to know where the Euro information can be sourced.

Looking for e24 black manual sport seats and also looking for black rear seats. They are going in an 84 euro 635. Re: need help to ID ECU
The only way to figure out what it is would be is to read it some how.
It could be an 0 261 200 040 but there is no way to test what I have as it is to early to put a Modic or GT1 on.

Re: need help to ID ECU
I think I figure out what my ecu is. I think it is an 011 as it has 4 tabs like mine and a black motronic sticker on the left side.
