The Guru
I agree he should be honored and I also agree with the Guru moniker so I looked up the word guru. The word has a very long history but it seems the western world has just recently adopted it for other uses as we have with Brucey. The word very much applies to what Brucey is to the sixer community bu...

As far as I know they will not fit. The frame mounting points are different and the headlight housings are different. I will know for sure soon as my daughter crashed her e34 and I'm in the process of fixing the Dr front corner. As if I didn't have enough to do and even worse she is driving the zinn...

Thanks Jeff
Nice pics. I was at the show for only about three hours due to an important previous commitment. I forgot my cam, my car had not been washed in weeks and I also forgot my BBS center caps. The show was secondary to my other commitment but I still had a great time. I'm just amazed at the number of bea...

Welcome Tatay
Do what you can to make the SoCal BMW Vintage meet at Woodley Park on Saturday. Some very good people in the group and it's a great way to expand your BMW horizon. You can also help to increase the 6er presence at the meet. Where in the IE are you? I'm in Victimville so not too far from you and I'm ...

I think he was expecting me to talk about how great his deal is but it doesn't look right. The seats are too perfect for what the carpet looks like. That engine compartment is terrible. If the mileage is true then that car has been abused most all of its life. I guess everyone else looking at the ca...

Late Day
Too many other parts to get so I was there till they told me to leave. Sharks were both US models, one black motronic e12 and one white e28. Both with red comfort interiors. I took the lightweight flywheel off the black e12 since the trans was already gone. Both cars had sections of front body panel...

I Couldn't Resist
OK Bert and Ernie,
Wokke is on the board here as well. Also, I was told the center caps are still available from the stealer.

Thanks Johnny
I actually have pics of the car now thanks to Manuel up in Vallejo. Several members have offered to help but their distance from the car prevented a quick view and photo shoot. Bobbo, aka Greenshatk, pointed me in the right direction of members to contact and Manuel got it done. The car is still ava...

Attendees?
Anyone else on the board going to this? I have a major scheduling conflict but I will try to make the early hours to see some friends and make new ones. I checked the current registration list and there are 5 or 6 e24s already. Jeff and John, When will you guys start to set-up on Saturday? Need any ...

16X9 Fitment
Hello wheel gurus. I have an opportunity to upgarde my rear set of BBS RS from 16X8 et11 (RS211) to 16X9 et8 (RS075). Anyone with experience working with such a low et? From looking at the way the 16X8 are mounted, it looks like it will wotk as I have almost 1 inch of room between tire and wheel arc...

Congrats Lane!!
What a score!! That looks perfect in every way. I can see right through the fuse box cover. It's like a brand new car (BMW e24 at that) for 6k!!

Welcome David
Good to see you finally came out from the shadows to truly join the fold. Pics do alot to keep the locals from beating on you. I think that 95% of the cars here are rolling projects like yours. It is expected as these cars are at least 20 years old and more, so don't feel bad at all about your shark...

With the condition of the spark plugs indicating good Air/Fuel mixture I would again tend to look at timing as being the issue. The suggestion to check compression numbers is good as it could eliminate the extreme high compression possibility. You've adjusted the AFM to run rich and the problem stil...

I thought sure the cap and rotor would fix your ails. What color were the plugs when last inspected? Light Grey, Brownish or Dark Grey. I wasn't aware of the O2 sensor test so that's good to know. Re-think this one:-k

Looks very nice from what I can see. Do you have any pics prior to your repairs. My dash has the Grand Canyon and several associated deep canyons throughout. I would rather repair in place than replace. The only thing I would do differently would be to use low sheen paint. Thanks for the update. Ralph
