Re: Air-con BMW 635CSI M
Aaron, Good Luck No, I just can't believe I'll need any luck. You, yourself said you rebuild these. Along with you, Four Seasons and a handful of other companies are rebuilding these. Seal kits are available. I find it extremely disconcerting that rebuilders are so tight lipped about where they buy...

Re: Air-con BMW 635CSI M
Fellow Forum members, I rebuild A/C Compressors, for the BMW Behr/Bosch Wingcell Compressor on the e23,e24,e28,e30,e31,e32 and others. What is good about is that the Wingcell, it can use either r12 or r134. These Wingcells after a rebuild, with new seals and bearings, are good for another 30 years. ...

Re: Fuel Leak
I have a fuel line leak coming from an almost inaccessible place in the engine. Closest I can tell it's on the left side close to the fire wall. Does anyone have a fuel line diagram for the 86 3.5L? Thanks all in advance. Dear no name, Welcome, As I have an m6 it might be a little different, anyway...

Daddy, Good luck with that, You really need investigate recovering the bad leather parts. Then respray the whole thing. On my m6 I recovered some parts, then resprayed the interior so all would be the same color. There were some parts that were still in great condition, but faded by the sun. The onl...

Dear Mr, no name,
Congrats, your car selling at ($41,500) your mileage was at 59,000, yours should have been higher, as its been 2 + years.
My '87 m6 I sold 2 years ago, on BAT for $41,750, I had around 68,000 miles. I was hoping for more.

Re: Low Pressure Power Steering Hoses
There are only 4 return hoses, Regulator/Brake bomb, PSP, Booster, Hydro Gear box. All the others are high pressure Thank you. The bottom four of the list were the correct ones. Someone used a section of heater hose for the one going straight down to the PS pump. Despite replacing all the old hoses...

Re: I just finished rebuilding my A/C Compressor on my m6
Agreed, now that is some outstanding work Jay =D> Probably better than new  Now where did all of that oil come from :-k Thanks, Bobo, The oil came from a Valve cover leak (probably 5-10 years) worth, from a previous owner. I have cleaned up an ATF leak also from the old return hoses leaking ...

I just finished rebuilding my A/C Compressor on my m6
Fellow Forum Members. I NOW HAVE A NEW WEBSITE, Link : www.jaysbmwparts.com. Please save as a Favorite Well, my Compressor had a very slow leak, but it was hard to tell where because of a previous owners valve cover leak. The compressor was covered in oil and dirt, probably from many years of that l...

Re: Master Cylinder replacement, e24 or e32?
Fellow Members,
I also went with the e32 M/C with the larger bore, and saw/felt no difference.
Make sure you get the early e32, as there are two styles.
The e32 was also less money.
