Here is what he is asking for it ..... http://www.carandclassic.co.uk/car/C459922 Yes, just as I said in my post  But you only linked the ebay auction, which doesn't show what the reserve price is. I, for one, had no idea where to look to see where you found the asking price information.

Randall, are you running OEM rubber bushings, or Urethane? For urethane, silicone grease (sometime called "dielectric grease") or red castor bean grease. Urethane bushing sets usually come with some of the red grease. It has to be renewed periodically. For OEM style rubber, powdered graphi...

That set up looks awesome. And I may just run new wiring. My was a butchered alpine set up from the 90s. May spend some days wiring it with it being 70 here in Texas Sounds like a plan. This time of year and mid-spring are times to "strike while the iron (weather) is NOT hot!". Same situa...

Carbs are not the same as injection systems (especially with big cams fitted) but the total inlet length is very important. cheers True about injection vs carbs, but as to what length "ram tubes" to use, think of it like this: BMW made those massive curved intake manifolds for a reason, a...

No paperwork, but you got all the rebuild specs from the paperwork? :-k Sorry, but I'm seriously confused. That should suffice for the needed information. You could have the buyer contact the shop that rebuilt it for confirmation.

If you have all the receipts for the rebuild work, I'd say DO NOT take it apart. Just show the prospective buyer the work receipts and go from there. It should be obvious the engine has never been cranked since the rebuild if it's been stored properly.

I looked at all the jacks Autozone offers, and they're either crazy expensive, or pretty much "use one time and throw away" junk. I know from experience. I've owned some of the latter. I'm gonna suggest a couple of jacks, and hope no one goes ballistic because they're from Harbor Freight. ...

Some old jack stands were flat across the top. I haven't seen one like that in years (except in my garage...and I don't use them now). They were fine if you put them on the flat areas appropriate for supporting the car, but if you put them on an axle (or anything rounded), you ran the risk of it all...

The starter isn't grounding sufficiently. Unless they've been swapped an '85 US spec 635 has one-piece headlights. The low beam is H5006

It may have been retrofitted with these, but the swap would have had to involve replacement of the headlight buckets, also.

This isn't the same style wheel. of course, but I like this subtle gold. It's "Champagne Mist", a Rustoleum Advanced Formula Metallic paint and primer in one. Seems very durable so far. Home Depot carries it.

WOW! Just realized what a lousy picture that is! Sorry!
