Re: Greetings from Norway, My 85 635CSi
My word those AC Schnitzers look so much better than the modern BMW wheels you had on before. The car looks excellent now.

Re: Gerties home, & FAST
My word that's a big engine Josh. Looks like it would go. Double demerit day was a dodgy day to bring it home, you must have had to keep your eyes peeled for the rozzers. Good to see it back

A Pair Of 6ers In Canberra

Re: What's the best way to affix a bicycle to the outside of a 6
I went with a mate last month to Bright in Victoria for a week's bike riding with the 2 bikes fitted to the roof with the Seasuckers. About 1400 kms of driving at highway speeds and twisty backroads with no problems whatsoever. The racks were attached to the car during the week away as I didn't both...

Looks good. I too was surprised to see the amount of 6ers there. The number plates look unusual.

That's my backyard. Got to keep the weirdos out and the sensible ones in. The power transformers are for my hifi.
Your car looks very nice in your sig, I'd forgotten all about it.

Long Time Between Drinks
It's ages since I've done a gallery post. Really as I've had the car 10 years now all but a few weeks it's time I did a re-introduction as it was one polish away from being sold. That can wait for another day when the light is kinder. But a coating of wax today gave me the urge to go out and take a ...

that looks better than something that hangs onto 6er gutters to me. Sensible that it has four big suckers at the front too; that is where the loads are highest. I guess you need to be scrupulously careful about the car and the suckers being clean before you mount it. If it is costly, I wonder if it...

http://i171.photobucket.com/albums/u281/Hergest/Bikes/6er%20bikes3_zpsafaqctgh.jpg I reckon this is a godsend to anyone with a car that won't fit a roofrack and is miles better than often bodged up rear mounted racks that in most cases are illegal anyway as they cover the rear lights and the rego p...

Well I've found the answer to carrying bikes safely as I bought a Seasucker mentioned in my post above. I got the one that carries 2 bikes. It's dead easy to fit, takes just a minute or two, is a very solid attachment and when it's not in use just sits in the cupboard. Well made US gear too. The fro...

Be good to see you Stu but i'm not going to try and sit in your car again. It stuffed up my back last time just trying to get in  Ben and Josh, i just hope your table manners have improved. I see the State Government has set aside some money in the budget to build you a new enclosure. Have a ...

The Seasucker looks to be a good way to mount the bike on the roof. Those ones stuck on the boot are a right pain as they block the license plate and obscure the rear lights. Also you can't do anything with the boot. I've worked on building sites with external glass facades and seen these suckers us...

your 6'er died again Paul? Same issue?? No. The radio aerial didn't retract when i drove it in the driveway on friday arvo, it does it now and then but pops down half an hour or so later. It never did pop down overnight however and it must have meant the radio was still using some charge even thoug...

I shall see you all tomorrow, the weather forecast looks pretty good for us out in the West. If you've got a walkie talkie then bring it along. The route is easy to follow and with only the 4 cars i don't think we'll get lost but it's good to have them all the same. Any problems tomorrow then i'll h...

I'll make a booking tomorrow for half a dozen of us, at least only being a few we will get the food quicker :D If any others do decide to come during the week then i doubt we will overwhelm the pub. There's the new huge water slide park down the road but at this time of the year i don't think they b...

Exhaust should be finished over next two weeks and car back to Matt but, getting the engine to run at the 370hp plus requires a side-loader diff sensor that mine just does not have. Otherwise I'm stuck with 250hp. So we need to go searching for the right side-loader diff, an LSD if we can find one....
