Re: location of ABS fuse M635
I didn't realize there was a difference. What didn't fit for you? the sensor itself? or length? The post '86 items are handed L & R. with fancy grommets. The ones I got from Ivo had no grommet or plug on the end. I think that the difference is because the trailing arms are different between early a...

Jay The rear sensors are only for pre ‘86 cars. I’ve just recd. a pair which don’t fit my ‘87 car. I’ve asked Ivo if he is getting the later o...

Re: Removal of auto transmission cooler pipes from the gearbox end.
Bought like it. I have a few in the set from 19-36 mm. They are extreme HD as you can see by the thickness. German stamped "Belzer 1949". You can buy sets of cheap split ring spanners but they will break as soon as you put a load on. The other thick split rings I have are brake pipe sizes, which are...

Aloha, I am trying to part out 1983 633CSi, problem is I don't want to destroy the trim but I don't understand how to get it off? Are there clips or is it glued on? I removed the window rubber seal but still cant find a way to get this trim off the car. Any tips or pointers would be greatly appreci...

Re: WTB pass side outer seat hinge cover
Hi Mike, Which seats have you got? Mine are 1988 Highline (UK model) full electric sports seats and I have been trying to get a R/H outer cover from BMW but none are available. Please remove your L/H outer cover and send me the part number and I'll see what the number is for the R/H side. These are ...

Re: 1989 635csi Air Conditioning Compressor
Phil, I've had 3 cars converted to R134 without any problems. They changed the charging adaptors to suit the R134 rig and ran a compatible oil through, pressure checked and re-charged. The cars all worked fine. HTH Ron. PS Still looking into the hinge covers. I got 3 from BMW last week and all three...

Re: E24 Windshield Nozzles - Heated/Non
Someone has "butchered" that. From the size of the cut-outs on the underside you don't have heated nozzles. I think the cut-outs on the top face of the bonnet are the same for heated and non-heated nozzles. This is the size of the cut-out on the lower face for the R/H heated nozzle. P1030067.JPG Thi...

Re: 1989 635csi Air Conditioning Compressor
Slightly off topic, but what is regarded as the best way to resurrect an R12 system that hasn't worked for well over ten years, but is known to have had a lot of new components fitted just prior to that? You might have a problem with R12 as it is technically illegal. Some agricultural outlets have ...

Re: E24 Windshield Nozzles - Heated/Non
The cutouts in the bonnet (hood) are different sizes for the heated/non-heated nozzles.
Please post a pic of yours and I'll confirm which type you have.
