I had a word with Richard at ...

Re: Cruise control bracket location?

Phil, I had a lot of trouble retro-fitting mine. If the car came from the factory with cruise installed the actuator mounting bracket was welded to the inner wing. The retro bracket has three studs and the holes have to be drilled in the inner wing to suit. The problem is there is a lot of equipment...

I've got one but it is still in the box. I bought various books on "how to" but not ventured that far yet.

The Highline kit should have a dedicated place with a raised centre spigot for the towing hook on the R/H side.

What year car is it from Bert? It looks nothing like the kits I have.

Re: UK 635 CSi for sale

Ron, I think you’ll find that the last sixteen Highlines left the assembly line in April 1989. You are quite correct Paul. Must be the "age thing" getting to me.](*,) Thanks for the confirmation Phil. You've quoted "0760254" for the last M should be "0760524". It is alive and well and owned by "Bay...

Re: UK 635 CSi for sale

Listed as a 1990 model year, is that for real? Cars last made Feb/Mar '89. but due the price, approx. £42,000, the dealers had problems shifting them. The "G" reg. ran from 01/08/89 to 31/07/90. There are at least 3 "H" registered cars (from 01/08/90 to 31/07/91). The M635 was approx. £50,000 at th...

Would you recommend adding some oil to the piston/spring/ball assembly when reinstalling?
