Thoughts for you CO boys :)
While we realize that the drive is in excess of 1000 miles, I wanted to let you know that there have been a few PSF attendees from your area :-k I first met Brian in 2004, as he came out for what was regularly regarded as the world's largest E24 gathering, ever  Get this, 92 cars in attendanc...

Carl, I've got a pair, but . . .
...they are far from ideal  FWIW, I wouldn't put them on my 6er, they came as a package deal with a Euro rear bumper I picked up a while back :-? Pix are attached, and I am local to you, just down 101 a bit in Sunnyvale  Lemme know if you're interested, I could let them go for a 6-pack 8...

Oh snap, duh....
Had I seen the gold wheels, I would've known right away
OK, so yeah, I can contact Eric and find out anything we want about his 6er
But that does verify the fact that he is running an RD front air dam

Thanks Mark!!!
PSF is always a great time  Regarding the Zinno example in that shot, I am checking to see if I can find out who the owner is, frankly I dont recall chatting with this person during the event :-? But what I can tell you is that 6er is wearing a Racing Dynamics front air dam, not stock US type ...

Brian came out one year!!!
And Gene is a regular attendee, although not this year
They usually fly out these days
Oh, and Ed, that's me, Bobbo, posting these pix, not Brian
There's a few more posted in the Sharkfests section, thanks to Paul (PTFunk)

PSF 2012 pix :)
Well fellow 6ers, hte 11th annual Pacific Sharkfest was held this past weekend, yet another successful event, although the population of attendees continues to slide :-? Guess we could all chalk that up to our stellar economy  But with 18 6ers in attendance including 8 ( 8!!! ) new people, it ...

Hey Jay, We talked a bit Friday morning before heading out for a wine tasting session  But Sunday morning is usually the getaway day, kind of a sad time for most of us PSF veterans :( It was good to meet you and glad that you showed interest in the group  After all, a 6er is just a 5er ...

Hey Dale!!!
Don't want to highjack this thread, but yeah, do drop me a line when you get a chance  Back to the brake light issue that Reseda is having, agreed on all of these suggestions. Just because you bought a new switch, don't assume that it's functioning properly, without testing it first :-? With a ...

Welcome to the board :)
We have very similar models, only 208 apart based on the VIN's =D> Mine is 5555701 and attached is a copy of an original window sticker from 5555705, which should help :-k Not much listed in the way of options  As far as a center console is concerned, there was none in 1980, sadly #-o And I wo...

There's a switch . . .
...under the dash, up by the brake pedal itself :-k When you apply the brakes, this switch activates, closing the circuit (I think), thus completing the circuit to the brake lights, hopefully [-o< I would be checking the function of this switch first, since all else appears to be in working order 8)...

That would've been on the US version ///M6 . . .
...introduced in '87, also appeared on the '88 model
You would not have been able to oder an '84 E24 with that spoiler, but you can certainly add your own now
Best looking rear spoiler on a 6er, IMHO

Possible diff sources
As far as looking at other models for possible replacement units, you could also find sideloader diffs in E3's, E9's and E12's, the older full size sedans, CS coupes and first fives :-k And I have to agree on the gearing choice as well, with our other board members. With the dogleg CR gearbox, I don...

M6 versus standard 635 sway bars
OK gents, trying to help a friend sell off some parts and he's got his original '88 M6 sway bars up for grabs  Question is, how much bigger diameter are these over the stock 635 bars :-k I measured these, 21mm front and 16mm rear, not as big as I thought :-?
