Yes the expression of the young girls face was priceless, she spent the day reading a book in her Dad's e28 M535, ...probably a little bored. Then suddenly she won the freshly restored 2002 touring out of the blue, 17 years old and just got her licence. Perfect Day. Hi Don, I know your car is a winn...

I had the same problem with a re-manufactured IS board. I couldn't get it to work, Vendor said my e24 must be a from a different year from what I originally stated? So I bought a second hand set of clocks in the UK, same year of manufacture, worked fine. I sent the IS board back, eventually after nu...

UK M6 Black f/s
Just saw this
http://www.carandclassic.co.uk/car/C419590
Alas no picture of the important bit on a M6, the engine bay.
If it's 1 of only 101 RHD Highline’s produced, how do you find out where
you car is on the number sequence?
ie car 45 of 101 etc.
Thanks in advance.

The off the road notification which rolls in at the end month will probably act like a catalyst for jettisoning big engine sub-30 year old cars .... back to the UK or worst still, local scrap/ebay merchants. We need a flat fee (youngtimer tax rate) 300 euro for the year, limited mileage/classic insu...

It only dripped slightly when the tanks was full. These cars don't stay full for long  No fumes, and as I said the breather outlets could literally break off in my hand. The main body of the tank was fine, slight surface rust on the seams, the other area which is well documented, it's the weld ...

How rusty is your fuel tank?
I finally got around to replacing the fuel tank. I witnessed the tell tale signs; fuel dripping from full fuel tank . I bought a new tank from euro parts. Alas it was silver, so i got it blasted, zinc coated and powder coated satin black. I also gave it some por-15 (belt & braces). I was shocked...

OBC DISPLAY LED LIGHT BOARD
Just replaced the OBC back light. Very impressed. Handy enough for a RHD E24. Just remove the headunit. loosen screw, pull white housing out containing light bar (long nose pliers) replace and reverse. I recommend euro-electric . Got it here, no affiliation http://www.ebay.com/itm/BMW-e23-e24-e28-e3...
