L-Jet facts source
You should have a look a the First Fives FAQ section, linky attached :-? http://www.firstfives.org/faq.html I checked and while they do go into the AFM function and various settings, appears that they only mention that loosening the spring richens the mixture, tighter would lean it out  Or was...

Geez Bert . . .
On the side of the block you can see the numbers "3.0/3.3" which would indicate that it's a "B32". Duly noted earlier in this post  And while this block does have the raised water passage, the combination of small bore, piano top pistons and early style dizzy drive simply ...

Q for you guys in Europe, specifically Sweden . . .
Does anybody have experience with B&G Suspension  They used to list springs for the E12 5er chassis, which would certainly fit an early 6er, albeit a little bit different weights for these cars :-? They seem to be interesting, one of the only springs I've seen out there that are progressi...

Judging by your description and photos . . .
...it appears to be a Euro M30B32 :-k The AMC head is the Spanish cast version (I think), no experience with these but don't think it's a problem either  On the side of the block you can see the numbers "3.0/3.3" which would indicate that it's a "B32". And of course the pia...

Time to meet up with the NorCal folks to show off your shark I wholeheartedly agree =D> Lots of bay area locals, please feel free to enquire about what may be going on at any given moment :-? And save the second weekend in September for PSF, the Pacific Sharkfest, to be held in Tahoe this year. Sti...

O2 sensor and wire location
Dan, passenger side of your 6er, assuming you are a Yank  Look down by the exhaust, although the single green wire should be coming from up top :-? And if you can squeeze under the car, the sensor itself would be threaded into a bung in one of the exhaust downpipes, before the cat :-k And sinc...

Decent turnout as well, too bad the weather didn't cooperate
You guys should still be proud of the event
I'll be sure and hoist a Stella (or 3) tonight in celebration

Hey Bert, I hear ya, but . . .
...he does mention the production date of 12/81 and the photo is definitely of a US version, but I know where you're going :-k Motronic did not hit the US cars until true MY82, the real bastard year for US version 6ers. Yes, they are Motronic, but also still retain the vacuum boosted brake system, f...

There should be a green wire . . .
First, welcome to the madness =D> If you look in the right rear corner of the engine compartment, there "should" be a single green wire there, along with a connecter/boot, which you should be able to follow to the O2 sensor  If it's not there (given your mfr date, should be L-jet inj...

Limited options :-/
I would suggest either Korman Autoworks, or go to Suspension Techniques directly, since that's what Korman will sell you anyway
Frankly, while there may be a few off the wall European sellers still offering lowering springs for the E12 chassis, your domestic options are very limited

I've also heard that they are sold under the name Axxis as well, all too confusing for me

Are they power or manual?
If manual, on the side of the seat where the button is for adjusting the height, just push it in and pull the headrests out completely
If they are powered, you'll need a response from a board member that has that setup, which would not be me
Good luck

Ignition cylinder failure :(
Yeah, that problem sounds like your ignition cylinder is no longer fully disengaging the electronics, therefore leaving the car in the "run" position #-o I did have a similar problem years ago, wherein the engine would shut off, but the car would still remain in the "accessory" p...
