MOT History......I had not heard of this before. Their web site https://www.gov.uk/check-mot-history says BETA This is a new service – your feedback will help us to improve it. Took a look at mine and was impressed with the detail. It was a good reminder of what has been done since 2005. I am a regu...

BMW Owners Club UK?

When we were at Rykas Cafe on 21st May we met a fan who told us he has been running on Facebook a group called "BMW Owners Club UK".

I have been quite unable to track this down. Does anybody recognise this name or know how to otherwise make contact?

Many thanks, John Rogers

Re: M635 RHD, Quite an ambitious price.

I exchanged some emails with the owner of this car a few years ago - he lived in the Channel Islands. Unfortunately his biggest trips were to visit Munich Legends. Undoubtedly a very genuine car. But these prices? Rgds, John Rogers

Ealing Broadway Looked Busy

One of the economic miracles which has helped the UK is Sunday trading. All shops can open on a Sunday (with shorter hours, mostly 12 til 5). This with full day Saturdays has resulted in a very significant number of extra hours of employment available for job seekers - compared with rest of Europe. ...

Very friendly meeting at Ace Café with 5 E24s. Ted Robinson arrived early in his M6.
There were two very smart refurbs – their owners new to me. Kos arrived with his famous car.

Ace Cafe Saturday 14th May 2016

Reminder of the BMW meeting at Ace Cafe 11.00am Saturday 14th May. Excellent (almost the one and only) London event for open attendance by BMW fans. Parking can be congested on site and for quick getaway I often park by the bus stop on the road outside. I have been going for many years and always th...

I was able to look closely at Brucey’s Boot / Trunk spring set up while at Mercedes Benz World on 20th March 2016. Brucey then looked at my set up and provided clear further guidance. Below are images of Brucey’s set up. His red interior makes for better images than my black paint. Overall it shows ...

Re: PH Sunday Service 20th March Mercedes Benz World

Nice to meet up with a group of E24 owners. Very cold day and PH screwed up their check in so that it was taking 20 minutes to get to parking. After 10 minutes queuing I got to the MBW gateway to see my registration number illuminated inviting me to turn left into the MB car park. So went straight t...
