I spent a lot of money on booze, birds and petrol for an M635. The rest I just squandered

Enquiry was definitely regarding the Euro stripes . . .
...and as you know Chris, those are tape/decals, not paint [-X Man, that would be a helluva paint job  But yeah, I've been at the stealer when the dood is walking around with the hand easel (sp) applying pin stripes to the Bimmers on the floor  Guy does it free hand, amazing :-?

Sweet!!!
I was thinking more like $200 :-? From what I can tell, these are NOS from the manufacturer (B&G) and are being sold by this luxury auto outfit, for whatever they can get  I also think that there won't be much demand out there, given that the newest E12 chassis vehicle is almost 30 years o...

B&G Springs, revisited . . .
Well, from what I found out, they are big in Europe, they are actually out of Sweden :-k Besides the fact that there are almost no manufacturers of lowering springs around for the E12 chassis, these are also progressive wound, which really has me pondering  And I see that Spasso has foundout w...

B&G Springs
Wow, nice find on the springs  I've researched them for quite a while, but have never found anybody who actually bought and installed them, so no feedback :-? Besides the fact that there are almost no more sources of E12 springs available, these are progressive wound, which is even more rare ...

Well, indicates '75 and older, perhaps that's why I've never heard of it
And yes, rain due to commence tomorrow, not sure how much we'll get, if any
At least I got the green beast out this morning for a nice drive to work
And back home, of course

Diff ratio number stampings . . .
Dana, here's a shot off my diff that shows the location of the number stampings that identify the ratio
For mine, 38:11 = 3.45 ratio
Tschultz is right though, "should be" 3.07 gearing
Nice work, keep those cards and letters coming

You have omitted a key specification . . .
...and that would be the wheel offset :-? Also, don't be surprised if the feedback from this forum is not all that positive about mixing tire sizes with wheels that are the same width, front and rear  Really, unless these wheels were intended for use on a 3 series (offset around ET40), then th...

Real nice, in fact  Not an ///M, but "should be" an M90, which is also a highly desireable engine 8) One quick item of note, the waist moldings have been removed, all of the holes filled in  Front bar is not stock, but the rear may be. That's a bit odd, as they are usually sol...

Please forgive the intrusion, but are you are you really gonna scrap an M535i as your donor car  Assuming it's the genuine article, almost seems like a travesty to part it out #-o Sure, lots of bumps, scrapes and cracks in the bodywork, and maybe it's rusted beyond repair :-k Anyhoo, good luc...
