Re: 1986 e24 B10 3.5 Alpina up for Auction, uk.

Does need some rust repair by the look of it. Am I right in saying that it's not a true original Alpina or is there no such thing - were they all conversions? all converted for the UK market they'd take a stock 635csi, en engine would be shipped over from germany, that would be fitted along with su...

Re: 1988 635csiA Highline 69k all original, never welded. pampered!

After all the discussion and opinions, can you let us know what it sold for please? I sold it for £14.5k, was very happy with that considering it was an unrestored example, one thing I have learnt is most people don't mind if it's not original paint so long as it's a genuine car with good history a...

Re: 1988 635csiA Highline 69k all original, never welded. pampered!

Stunning car I'd say it has to be £20k as well if not more There's one that may be for sale soon at 57,000 miles but it needs paint. A couple of well knowns sellers said with nice paint it would be £25k. Another with 50,000 miles but patchy history sold for £30,000 and yours is significantly better ...

Re: Suspension overhaul

Thanks Kos, although i'm very pleased with the full Fritz exhaust system, I'm unsure about the springs. I think it would be hard to copy a spring in respect of rebound and ride. Maybe I'm being silly but most people have the H&Rs and they seem very happy with them. You're right in that I should...

I'd have a thorough inspection done to see what if any bushes may need looking at

Other than that you've covered everything.

On a side note, the fritz springs are apparently a copy of the the eibachs

Guys

Thanks again. As I said on a few other posts it's my pleasure to make them for you guys. Anything given time is doable like Bobs which was tedious and hard work given the condition of the original but we got there in the end
