With the dogleg you will need to look at diff ratio. Otherwise you'll top out on the track. but, more than likely you have a nice tall diff.

Pity but, you building your own means another 6'er get's looked after.

Go later model 635 if you can.

I would not do it but am not against it. Did consider an LS3 swap at one time. In hindsight, it would have been cheaper. I would have loved to have seen the 4.4 litre BMW engine in a 6'er.
