Hi Pete,The correct sizes to match the original rolling radii of the TRXs are Front 235/40 X18 Rear 265/35 X18 Lots of tyre companies do these sizes from "budget" to "premium". You pays your money and you take your choice. My current tyres are TOYO PROXYs. You should be able to g...

Auto box stuck

When was the last oil and filter pack change?

Try re-seating the ECU plug.

The selector will always kick back to "E" when ignition is switched on.

Had them fitted to a set of style 5s a while ago.235 front/265 rear. They seem OK and the wear rate is good.Wet use is superb but I don't really thrash the car so can't really tell you if they are the "dogs". I've got Toyo Proxes T1 Rs fitted to my "parallel spoke" 18s and can't ...

I did mine in UK.The only parts reqd. are the charge valves. They are

a different thread.Seems to work with no problems although we don't

have rear A/C in UK.(at least I have never seen one fitted to a UK car).

Shadowline on the door handles.

Hi Stanton,I powdercoated my door handles and because of the paint thickness, they were a right PITA to refit. It's not an easy job anyway to get the locking clip onto the barrel but with the extra paint it was a nightmare (new gaskets didn't help). I found that unbolting the locking mechanism and act...

Hubcentric rings

-a quick fix is to get some steel rings turned up, and to bond them into the wheels with JB weld or another epoxy. Aluminium ones might do but steel would be best here. I reckon a top bloke with a lathe will do it for a few beers and they will be far better than anything you can get in Al or plasti...

Brake interchangeability

If both the cars are E28 based then no problem.

If the '82 car is E12 based then none of the brake components

are interchangeable with the later car.

Before you start messing with the door alignment, you need to look at the lock on the door. There is supposed to be a small piece of plastic on one of the fingers of the locking grip. If that small piece of plastic is missing the door will almost never close correctly. 17 BUMP STOP 2 51211809735 $1...

Yes. there is a test, but you have to have a pressure gauge that reads from 0 to 60 bar (0 to 1000 psi). You replace the horizontal pressure switch* on the side of the DS regulator** with the gauge. You then can check to see if the upper and lower operating pressures are correct and see if it holds...

Remove rear seats.Slide headrests up and out of locating channels.

Remove the two 13mm.hex nuts on each side and lift pods out.

There are two locating lugs at the back of the pods which just slide out.
