Ross, the E12 based brake systems (at least the calipers) are considered better than the later versions =D> The fronts are 4 piston fixed calipers, while the rears are also fixed, 2 pistons however :-" All 4 rotors are vented as well :wink: The front calipers resemble those found on M6's :lol: ...

Ronnie, I put a late model rear parcel shelf with the blind in my 80, so you should be good to go :-" The only "issue" that I had was that there wasn't anywhere to attach the blind to when you pull it up #-o So I used a couple of metal clips that attach to the rear windshield gasket, ...

I was going to suggest sanding with progressively finer sand paper, then treating with the black plastic treatment of your liking, but you beat me to it =D>
