Re: FS - UK RHD M635CSi #310

This car has made it onto the Pistonheads "Spotted" feature.
Interesting and largely appreciative comments on the M635. I cannot believe some of those posted comments aren't made by one or two from this forum!

Re: FS UK RHD M635CSi #347

Mmmh, I don't know really. Seeing as there is rust on the roof, this could well need a ton of remedial bodywork after a closer inspection. The high mileage suggests a second (if indeed there was ever a first) timing chain isn't too far away. It's entirely possible this car could need many, many thous...

635CSI Motorsport Edition - Tom Hartley

For those that don't know, Tom Hartley is a trader in high end supercars here in the UK. So I was surprised to see this, relatively humble, 635CSi Motorsport in Misano Red on his website. https://www.tomhartley.com/used-car-details/used-bmw-635-csi-motorsport-edition-coupe-misano-red-automatic-petro...

Re: WTB Windscreen Washer Fluid Pump.

I have recently ordered and successfully fitted two wash pumps for the headlamp/screen washer system on my car. My first hurdle to overcome (and there many) was that my failed twin pump assembly required was NLA from BMW. A huge thanks to K1W1 who kindly told me that 12V VDO washer pumps for a 1986 ...

After a very long time to.... a) Get around to doing it. b) Identifying the correct parts. c) Waiting an eternity for parts to land in UK d) Working out how everything goes back together correctly after making a mistake on my plumbing and electric diagrams. .... I FINALLY completed the refurbishment...

Re: FS - UK RHD M635CSi #499

I’m in agreement with you Pod. There’s a preferable, simpler elegance to Bracq’s original lines with the slimmer bumper format. Of course styling is a subjective matter, but I find the Highline cars a little bottom heavy. On the other hand, look how popular the Kardashians are these days. Cue the de...

G201TYX.

£115,000.
I think this must be the highest ever priced M635 outside of the USA.
I wonder why it commands a £10,000 premium over #055 (also just advertised by Classic Heroes) which has even fewer miles?

You're right Rob, those later posts on the cycling thread do make much more encouraging reading. Coincidentally, I was working on my windscreen wash and headlamp wipers today, and found his "pesky squirters" and "pesky headlight wash/wipe" threads invaluable. His E24 expertise al...

Re: Where is Brucey, I hope this isn't the answer...

That cycling thread does not make for pleasant reading, and I'm fearful that their Brucey and ours are one and the same.

I have met him only on two occasions, and regrettably didn't swap contact details. If anyone has his Cambridge address, I could drive up there and knock on his door.
