More progress

We are finally making more progress with the assembly and output of parts. Whomever painted a Rosy picture of 3d printing is wring. We waited over 4 months for Dow to "perfect" their support materials for NylonX and still the parts came out a bit scraggly... I'll probably finish them a lit...

Re: Ressurecting the Air Conditioning

Hey Randall, I don't know if you want to keep everything original? I know that if you go to a quite common and cheap parallel flow condenser you are making huge progress.. Also, convert to a Spall high flow push fan to move much more air.. The old fan is very weak. The Evap and all its components yo...

Throttle stack lift motor

Just finished designing and printing the housing that will attach to the back of the plenum plate, that houses the Yamaha YCCI motor. It has 90deg of max motion and will do nicely. We plan on lifting the entire assembly about 2" away from the ports on the back plates. We once again printed usin...

This is some very nice work. I'm curious as to how you are going to mechanically actuate the variable length intake? Likewise, the input for same, ie, load, rpm, etc? Have you considered, based on manifold pressure, any intake swirl manipulation? Again, very nice work here and following closely. Fo...

Re: Anyone on this board Have a lathe?

I can appreciate wanting to turn a new piece so it looks OEM, but an alternative is heim or ball ends with a new threaded rod. You can buy ready made pieces, if you know what size bolt end is required. https://www.grainger.com/category/power-transmission/bearings/spherical-bearings-and-spherical-ro...

It seems as if I've lost a strut with the rod ends (See attached)..rod ends broke when I took them apart on my M6 ITB's .

Its a Metric hex stock that can be replicated. BMW want BOOKOO bucks for it. Wonder if anyone can help out. I will of course send the Hex stock.

I would first concentrate on Throttle body Bore size as a velocity is vital in atomization . There is research and Real world results that show th...
