I understand that the Malachite Green car, number 447, fetched £18,200 (+ premium & VAT) at the physical Classics Central auction in Bedford yesterday.

Pod, that car is this car, number 330...... http://bigcoupe.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?f=8&t=27580 Presumably, it didn't sell on ebay as it went through a physical auction at Classics Central yesterday, where it also failed to find a buyer. Cannot see the VIN plate, but agree that the VIN number v...

BMW Classic Film
Not a picture, but a really nice little film from BMW Classic with a great deal of E24 content. Hope you enjoy it as much as I did.

Good spot.
Has somebody drilled some holes into non-headrest rear speaker covers and stuck some front headrests in?

Re: UK M635CSi for sale
Going by the registration date of this car, 171 and 246 are too early, and 343 is just too late.
I figured this car to be 330.....

M635CSi Genesis - 1982 Prototype for sale
If, like myself, you are an aficionado of the M635CSi, you may be interested to learn that an intriguing car has made its way onto the market. Up for sale in Austria is a 1982 635CSi running an M88 motor, created as a prototype of the M635CSi. After being built the car was reportedly owned privately...

Re: UK 1988 M635CSi Motorsport - Munich Legends
The mileage and the paperwork in the final image suggests that this car is indeed the celebrated and well documented number 466, the first of the Motorsport cars. This once belonged to a big E24 enthusiast by the name of Ross Harris. It was registered as F715MNU but is currently F6BMW. This car is/w...

Good to see you made it onto bigcoupe.com, Mark. As I said before, this is probably the best resource for knowledge, parts, help, advice and enthusiasm for E24's you will find anywhere. But you can help others to help you further by amending your profile to show your location, and perhaps also the d...

Re: ***UK ONLY*** Looking to buy a 635 ***
MOT history check suggests there is an long-standing oil leak first spotted in 2011.
If considering this one, I would be also be looking very carefully at the corroded sill repairs that would have been carried out to get it through it's MOT in February.

Hi Mark, Am I correct in assuming we met at the Ace Café a couple of weeks back, with very similar cars parked close to each other? You might have some success sourcing your missing bits from this chap in Scotland called Boyd. http://bavarianretro.com/blog/ He's here on bigcoupe, and goes by the nam...

Re: Save the Day - 4th Sept 2016
I completely agree with you, John. I'm not long back from the Ace Café. For me a it presented a rare but very welcome opportunity to meet fellow E24 owners, some of whom, whilst I have established a degree of familiarity on Bigcoupe, had never had the good fortune to meet in the flesh. Today was a c...

Absolutely. If areas of structural integrity have corroded badly enough, the car is deemed unsafe and will fail the MoT test (an annual UK road-worthiness assessment for vehicles over three years old)

C187 LTT. Arctic Blue with Pearl Beige and 82k miles. The advert description tells us little about the cars condition or history. The MOT history suggests the car has barely turned a wheel since it failed a couple of tests 3 years ago with rust issues. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/1986-BMW-M635-CSI-BLU...
