My 740il is a 1993 I've bought the Varta batteries and am trying to figure out how to link the two together. The original has a welded tab between the two that are stacked one atop the other...

I've got a similar setup in my 1984 633 VIN6997510 and the rod screws into a nut welded on the underside of the battery tray. But since battery construction has changed a bit in 30 years, I use a shock cord that ties into an "EYE" bolt threaded into the same nut on the front side of the tr...

Brucy, I have a set of those from Harbor Freight (Horror Freight to some) and they are not god in a tight situation and the indent for the ball retainer isn't in the right place for my Craftsman or Snap-On wrenches. I like the idea of a vice-grip wrench around the flare nut wrench! Typically if ther...

One more thing
Look at this video regarding terminals
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NPI3f3edL9U

Also, use a dab of Permatex battery terminal goop ($1.49) to prevent corrosion

http://shop.advanceautoparts.com/c3/automotive-batteries/15597 I put in an Autocraft from Advance Auto. Add to your list a distributor cap, rotor and ignition wires. After that, reset the valve lash.
All necessary basics.

Please turn off your caps

If it was the brake accumulator, the ABS light would not be the indicator. But the regular brake light would flash briefly.

I do not know what the diagnostic procedure for ABS would be, but perhaps it is in the ETM on the tech info section of BigCoupe.

Chassis condition is sort of make or break for a project like this unless you are a talented welder and body man. That rear diff mount looks very dodgy. Maybe a lot of salt. If so, inspect the undercarriage carefully as there is likely to be other rust problems that need to be attended to before you...

What opacity is the window tint? Blends great with the body.

Do you keep it in the garage when the sandstorms kick up? I'd hate to sacrifice such a beauty to the Shamal.
