Re: broken tab on slider

I had that exact same thing. Glued it and it is still holding.
But as I now see this part is so cheap, I will replace it as well.
Thanks.

Re: E30 M-tech sport seats

Don't know if the footprint of the Recaro seats is identical to the M-Techs.
I agree that it cannot be that different as it should be bolted to the same locations on the car body.

E30 M-tech sport seats

Has anybody managed to properly install E30 M-Tech sport seats in a (E28 based) E24? I am interested in swapping my comforts for sport seats. The only adapters I can find are for Recaros, not for M-Tech seats. I also read some stories about possible height issues (too low/ too high) after changing s...

Re: Tach and speedo issues

I had the same issue with my speedometer. Cleaning the contacts of the blue C1 plug and the fork pins on which it is connected to the board solved it. I used a 1000 grit sand paper to clean/polish the fork pins. The contacts you mentioned coming from S105 and C103 run through that same blue C1 conne...

Charlie, I got the feeling you are messing with us. You are responding on all kind of old posts which clearly tell that the parts or cars are sold. :-k

Re: Radio power issue.

My first guess is also a grounding issue. Strange behavior often leads to grounding issues. The temperature warning light isn't activated by the same sensor output as the needle. They have there own signal coming from the temperature sensor. Perhaps the sensor is faulty or the light is broken. You c...

Re: Roller sun shade repair

In the meantime I managed to fix it. I used 2 simple 8mm spring washers. The thicker piece of the washer, there where is it cut open, firmly clamps and secures in groove of the original plastic end plug. I used black washers, which according to me, looks pretty good. 20201018_145513.jpg 20201018_145...

Roller sun shade repair

My roller sun shade looks like new but both plastic hooks are broken.
Has anybody managed to successfully repair these plastic hooks?

The complete unit is part 51461939054, which is obsolete.

The front won't fit by far though, this is how the combination of a US top cover and world bumper side cover look like.

Nice Parship commercial

Nice German commercial of the dating website Parship.
A road trip with a 635 CSi.
It is shown on the TV at this moment.

Re: Strong exhaust fumes smell

Thanks! Then that is what I will buy.
I must say I had a strong preference towards Bosch already.

Yes, that is most likely what is happening to my car as well! Hope it solves the issue.
That and a new cat.

Thanks [-o<
