Hey Guys - I wasn't looking for another car, let alone another M635, but this was a hard one to pass-up on. I won it on Bring-A-Trailer a few weeks ago and was a rare opportunity to own one of maybe less than 20 Dinan Turbo M88 cars. https://bringatrailer.com/listing/1986-bmw-m635csi-2/ It supposedl...

Yes!

I will definitely start a new thread on the car.

Just got my first oil change done on it and ready to tear into it.

Re: What do you think the best looking rims are for the shark?

I recently bought this car and it came with the throwing stars. This car has upgraded brakes (Wilwoods in front and E34 540i in the rear), so 17" wheels were needed to clear them. June 28 2023 5.jpg June 28 2023 4.jpg What suspension? Sits really nice Thanks. The car is sitting on Ground Contr...

Re: How To: BMW M30 Coolant System Flush

This is really an area where most owners neglect, flushing the cooling system very two years is critical using the blue or pink coolant only, not GO5 and not the cheap green Prestone stuff either. I shot a video to walk you through how to do this, for those of you who are visual (i know I am). I hop...

Re: Nice Euro 1984 BMW M635CSi for sale on BAT

@ewentzel - I was excited to see the bidding taking off in the last two minutes from a start of $19k. I was crossing fingers hoping to see a hammer price of at least $60k...sorry to see this did not happen. Your car is certainly deserving of it. Your auction is good data point for me, as I own an '8...

I would love to buy these seats, but by the time they are shipped to Houston ($200) and have them recovered ($1k per seat), I would have some serious coin invested in them.

Re: Dry ice blasting

I do like the benefits of dry ice except the price. But certainly understand why it is expensive as there is a ton of labor and time involved plus the cost of the dry ice and equipment usage. Lately I have been getting good results with a good brush, degreaser and my power washer. Here are some befo...
