I love the way my dogleg drives. It just seems like a constant and smooth progression of gear changes through the usable torque range (M30). I run a 3.08 diff ratio behind mine, and it ensures that 1st gear is at least usable and provides reasonable rpm at cruising speed (2500rpm = 100km/h). After m...

If using Windows, you can use Paint to resize. Use the tags to post pictures. You will need to upload them to something like Photobucket for hosting.

I agree with your wife Gaz ! You should get back to the Sixer hehehe.

I've been in touch with Dave G and am now just considering going to stand alone ECU and CoP on my S38B36 build. Dave is looking at Megasquirt and I am yet to do my research on if I will follow suit.

Nahh, Jeff, after examining many "options", I found there really is only one option. That is replacing like for like and going with OEM parts. I'll probably upgrade to +100 H1 bulbs however.

M30 For Sale

Hi all. You may have seen that I will be doing an engine swap in the near future. I am starting to build up an S38B36 which is planned to go into my Sixer. Thus, I will have a very solid M30 that will be up for sale. This engine has had mild work done though I am not sure specifics. I do have receip...

Yesterday I pulled one of the headlight buckets to inspect. It is indeed the non North American (4 x H1) variety. This limits options to upgrade according to Daniel Stern. http://i1308.photobucket.com/albums/s601/blackjack30squad/headlights_small_zpsks8jejdp.jpg The Speaker LEDs could be used but wo...

Here is one example of what I believe is a disingenous supplier. My question; Hi there. I am interested in replacing the very cracked 5.75" halogen headlights on my BMW 635csi. I am in Australia and of course car is RHD driving on left side of road. Can you tell me if your 5.75" 36w LED he...

Thanks Andy. Yes, ADR applies to all lights and they do need to be marked to comply. Basically, Australia conforms to ECE left driving requirements. As has been seen from my thread on this, there are many options that do NOT comply. 90% of the time you will get away with it but that is not what I am...

The problem is that all 4 headlights are cracked and dulled (but still working). Have been looking about for a solution for a while.
