I don't see that car selling for ?30,000. White is not the best colour for an M635 IMO. Yeh for me at that price it would have to be one of the late motorsport editions macau blue, misano red or the silver one i forget the correct name of colour! with a mint interior and no more than 15k on the clo...

To me, the interior doesn't look quite as pristine as I would have expected from such a low mileage car.

I quite like the paint - however, you will be forever touching in chips caused by the wide wheels throwing stones onto the bodywork :(

Re: Handbrake Shenanigans

As most auto-box-equipped 6er owners do, I hardly ever use my handbrake. There is simply no need. cheers I always use my hand brake - just force of habit I guess. I seem to remember reading that parking on a steep incline can cause problems if not using the handbrake? Especially if the car will not...

Strong mix of disillusionment & Greed there.. [-X [-X ...........and blatant opportunism! He's also selling a "very rare" old Motorola radio with a tatty box. More realistic starting price of ?0.99 though  On the other hand, if somebody is building a concours car and money is no...

Re: 4 Star Classics

What's the consensus of opinion on them? They always have some amazing stock.... but always soooo expensive! Am thinking of using them to sell my car! http://www.4starclassics.com/ The guy has always been very friendly when I have done business with him. I guess if most of his stock is on SOR, then...

Don't be too upset when you see your car advertised for significantly more than you sold it for. I know, but I think I got a fair price for it as it's not concours. The dealer may be keeping it in his own collection and selling his silver M635 which has covered just 45K miles and also came from She...

UK late Highline FS on ebay

Looks like this one may be a "keeper"? I would imagine the BMWSH would be available from any main agent from their computer system?

"Agreed value" is nothing more then telling your insurance company you want $12000 value put on the car if something happens. To get it, you just pay more of a premium. It has nothing to do with what it's really worth. Insurance terms may be different in the UK. When we have an "agre...

Deffo the clutch pressure & driven plates and release bearing. Inspect the flywheel and get it machined if necessary. If in doubt, change the parts 'cos its a PITA to get the 'box installed then have to remove it again!

SS lines shouldn't rust. Braided lines are designed to stop any expansion of the hoses (under braking) which, in turn, allows greater braking force to the calipers/discs which improves performance

I have an M635CSi with a very similar agreed valuation. The interesting thing is that my annual premium is about 10% of what he pays. So in eight years' time he will have paid over the whole value of the car, which by that time will probably be looking a little ragged around the edges. However, I wi...

It's #144. As you say, Paul, it's got a funny cam.cover, the interior has been changed and it's been "shadowlined". Reg. is C618 TLF. I just noticed that I had written this reg number down as a car which had been for sale quite a few months ago - maybe even last year - but I cannot rememb...
