When I owned my e28 (M20) the water pump was so corroded at the hose mounting points that it had to be repaired with JB weld, and it held. Currently my oil pan on my shark has been repaired by someone, and it had been repaired with JB weld, I am not so sure about this holding as my oil pan weeps lik...

Mine has a sticker it was built in Denmark, pretty sure it says Behr, but all aluminum no plastic crap.

My 87 L6 Hails from California sticker is exactly the same but has the black and white inverted, and on L side of engine bay strut tower.

Make sure the throttle body is damned well clean, use a toothbrush and rags clean it out especially where the plate meets the intake potion of the TB. While in there and you can lube the hinge points of the plate and other moving parts just don't drench it out. It could possibly be a jammed Idle Air...

I got my sunshade up and working now and I have to remove that gawd awful tint from 1989 :shock: It's that crap you could buy from Wallmart(Sonja came with already installed) it gone a hazy shade of purple so gross! I also received my new floor mats from BMW and my IACV rubber bushing piece from BMW...

I can attest to the "be careful" option as I have crunched my air dam a bit due not paying attention to angles on on ramp to parking lots and steep roadways. ](*,)

Thanks to Darryl for the pics, and the Torque Masters car club for putting on this car show over 200 cars and 2 Bimmers a buddies X5 and my L6 and one Beamer (which won a trophy), I am a card carrying member :) A great group of guys.

Washed my TRX rims and inspected tire wear rim damage etc, not bad, I will have media blast the rims though as the paint is worn off quite badly.

What I found out about my L6 is production date is 12th month 87 and I do have a B34 engine. Less power :( I also noticed the dash underneath the steering wheel is totally different too...it's bulbous.
