Flasher relay is on the right side under the steering column. There is a cover piece that surrounds the column with 2 or 3 cap screws that need to be removed. There is a metal holder that fixes the relay to the column and it just pulls off.
At least that's where my 84 633 is configured

If you are DIY'ing this, pull the rad to give you working room. Otherwise a metric cap screw (it has an internal hex) will allow you to use an allen key. Also considering some of the locktite that allows dissassembly (blue or red - not sure which)
Either way - be gentle.

I would also replace the star shaped nut used to tension the belt. I've heard there is a better mount than what I have for my 1984 633. I believe the beefier adjusting bar p/n is 12311274747 but the underlying mount may be NLA. I've got a single toothed adjusting bar that is not all that rigid to my...

Brackets tend to stabilize the connector & wire against vibration and fatigue. If you have it, use it or put it on the FS list.

This is an interesting channel produced by a midwest restoration shop. They put 1,500 hours into a frame-off resto of a small block 65 Chevelle. Before you throw stones at me, the finish color was BMW's Estoril Blue. Very close to my 66 Chevelle 396 Marina Blue. Most interesting were all the bodywor...
