Car phone

Hi Guys

Does anyone have a phone fitted. I would be interested in seeing some pictures.
I’ve just bought a Motorola Brick phone with a 80’s period car handsfree kit. Can wait to fit it.

Thanks

Check the manufacture date of your tyres.

Hi

Interesting website to check how old your tyres are, just enter the last three or four numbers for it to work.
Example, DOT FK R8 AST X102. Just enter 102.

Check your tyres age website

Hi Just came across this interesting website where if you enter the DOT code on the side of your tyre it will tell you what week and year they where made. You only have to put in the last four or three numbers for it to work such as DOT FK R8 A5T X102. So just enter 102 etc. www.checktire.com Cheers.

Hi Guys

Thanks. I don’t like modifications of any kind, I always think that BMW spend a lot of Money on R and D but maybe cut costs somewhat on material in someways.

Panel gap measurements

Hi Guys

Have removed both front wings and Bonnet/Hud. I’m in the process of re-fitting them.
Does anyone know what the panel gap you should be around the Bonnet/Hud.
Should it be even all the way round.

Thanks.

Had my injectors for my 86 csi tested and refurbished.
Your injectors may be fine rather then spending lots of cash.

Front wheel Bearings on 86 e24

Hi

I want to fit a new set of front Wheel Bearings on my 86 e24. Can you just change the Bearings and reuse the old Hubs or are the Hub and Bearings only available as one unit.

Thanks

Hi

Get your Injectors serviced. Then using the Bentley Manual check the Fuel Pump Delivery and the Fuel Pressure Gauge.

Good look

Re: Idling/stalling issue - '89 635csi

Hi , Have you checked your Injectors for good spray pattern. Check the Fuel Delivery rate, as per Bentley Manual and the Fuel Pressure regulator.
Checking both of these will require a Fuel Pressure Gage kit.

Good look.
