Re: FS UK RHD M635CSi #249
Looks like they've sold it - eventually. Ebay description amended on 27th September to note that a deposit has been taken. I wonder how much it fetched? Since it was on sale from late last year, I assume they didn't even manage the £34,995 it had been reduced to back in the summer. Did anybody inspe...

I would try driving it for a while to see if it loosens up.

Re: Heater and A/C Blower Always Blowing On High
Don't throw the old blower motor out yet though, you might be able to free it up with liberal use of Penetrating oil into the bearings. If you can free it up enough, you might be able to re-lubricate and sell it as a functional 2nd hand unit on ebay. These always freeze up if the car is not run for...

Just a wild guess, but have you tried putting a fuse into the holder at the bottom of the square showing #1?
That box #2 could be one of the ABS connectors?

When troubleshooting, I always start with a known-good ECU as its the easiest thing to swap over! Good luck.

Re: FS - UK RHD M635CSi #181
Did it actually sell this time? Refer to my earlier comment................................ I was wondering why the "Alpina" logo has been left on the front spoiler and why the race harness was not removed. Enough, surely, to confirm that the car has been ragged around the roads if not the...

Apparently sold for £12,150 which I consider to be a realistic figure, considering the amount of work needed.

Re: The Last E24
Still none of the cars in that thread match the serial number from the Archive photo. I think that number is most likely to be the actual number of E24s produced as far as the factory was aware, at that time. They had only just stopped making them! The generally accepted figure is 86,216 - but it i...

Re: FS - UK RHD M635CSi #181
Re-reading the description and looking at the pics, the MOT states that it is 'heavily undersealed'. Maybe the sills could be a little less 'protection' as it looks as if the main rust locations are pretty well covered - almost excessively, IMO! ...................................and the mileages sh...

Re: The Last E24
We discussed this E24 back in early 2016. It was up for $23,000 or best offer. I wonder how much it fetched? Currently up for just shy of $40,000 which I reckon is very reasonable! Read the thread - it's interesting

Re: Car phone
Hi I have this Blaupunkt Motarola 2600 brick phone with a handsfree kit to fit and wounded about where to fit it. I don’t want to drill into any of the trim etc. Thr trouble is that once they are removed, it leaves visible holes. I suggest you buy a replacement trim piece so the installation can be...

I understand your point of view, but is it so bad to expect individuals using this source to help pay towards the upkeep? If it wasn't for Brian continually improving and maintaining this site, we wouldn't have everything at our fingertips that we currently enjoy!

Front 'screen removal method (intact!)
Well...................... I've broken many E24s and only ever got one screen out without cracking it - and that was by cutting it out! Whilst getting through to the end of my most recent 'dismantling' I was trying to decide whether I needed an intact 'screen or mounting rubber. I knew I couldn't ha...
