Re: FS UK RHD M635CSi #332
Nice motor with everything appearing correct! I don’t know if the heated seats were an original option, but I’d certainly not complain if I was driving during the current cold spell! I am somewhat surprised that they didn’t wait until the springtime to market it though - surely they could have asked...

Re: Observer coupe (at an inflated price)!
I love it when an old thread is resurrected. About six and a half years - doesn't time fly
Is anybody going to scan and post the Octane article? (after a decent time, when that issue is outdated, of course!)

Re: FS UK RHD M635CSi #182
Yes, I am watching the auction and had come to the same conclusion, Superman. If it was a runner it would be more interesting, but I feel the asking price is very ambitious. Interesting to hear it is for sale by Classic Heroes - and surely if the engine could be coaxed into life, they would have don...

Re: UK M635CSi #387 FS by auction soon
Is that not the one that was sold in Glasgow a year or so ago and then immediately popped up in London with a considerable mark up .....? The auction listing states that the owner has had the car since October 1988, so maybe it's a different one? I'm not sure, but I couldn't find anything about it ...

Re: New lotus white full leather
Honestly, I am on the fence about buying but my car has the grey interior and the rear seats are in excellent shape, so to swap the entire interior to Lotus white would be a huge undertaking. But to re-iterate my point, an excellent deal. It's not difficult to swap-out an entire interior. Shouldn't...

Re: Chrome Mirrors
Nearly 15 years, it's got to be close. I'm just glad that sauber searched and bumped it instead of just starting another thread. Props to him! As to the question, realoem.com shows the mirror body as one piece. We know the body is 2+ pieces, but how they come apart isn't shown. I'd hate to break on...

UK M635CSi #387 FS by auction soon
https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/234775642232 Looking at the photographs, it looks to be in very good condition. Mileage a bit high @ 117,400. Registration number was B 78. A fair amount of money spent over the years, but why auction it with a tatty headliner and evidence of rodent-gnawing of the under bo...

Re: '89 635CS For Sale
I'll tell you a couple of things turned me off. "If you know what this car is I don't need to explain it." "IS THIS STILL FOR SALE" WILL BE IGNORED" Why are you shouting? "it could possibly just be re-sewn as a quick fix" Why wouldn't you "quick fix it so you...

What’s going on with Trump???
We’ve just returned from a holiday. The Spanish hotel’s TV was either Spanish or German. That is, apart from CNN which was the only channel broadcasting in English. Just about every time we switched it on, there was anti-Trump content. That was all they really wanted to do. Trash Trump! All seemed v...

I’ll be interested to hear how you find them. I was under the impression that red pads were more for racing applications and need to get up to temperature before they work well?
Good luck!

I've had several BMWs (including E24s) which gave a 'beep, beep, beep' sound when the ignition was turned off. Could never work out what this was, as the majority of my cars have never made this sound?

Re: Flood cars
I'm watching the disaster of hurricane Ian in south Florida. I've gone to see a number of car collections in prior years and was planning to see a few more this winter (AACA Winter Nationals in Miami) plus the frequent Cars N Coffee events. But seeing floating and flooded cars (and even fire engine...

Re: FS UK RHD M635CSi #249
Looks like they've sold it - eventually. Ebay description amended on 27th September to note that a deposit has been taken. I wonder how much it fetched? Since it was on sale from late last year, I assume they didn't even manage the £34,995 it had been reduced to back in the summer. Did anybody inspe...
