Re: Euro Bumpers

How difficult is it (generally) to retrofit that rear to a late model US car? And is there usually trim that accompanies that style Euro bumper as well?

My E24 on Film

Over the summer I shot a ton of film, and I just got it all developed this week. I'm really excited with how it all turned out, especially since I was shooting with a new camera on old film. Here's a few images of my car from that film! https://farm1.staticflickr.com/633/21339365740_9266d267af_b.jpg...

I put the GRTWHT in storage the other day... I don't have the means to take it to school in a different state, so it's posted up in my grandparent's home until I return for breaks. :( The last shots I took before leaving: https://farm6.staticflickr.com/5680/20757279101_9f02c737f7_b.jpg Untitled by R...

Gee it sits rather low, I could use the front spoiler to sweep up the leaves at the front of my house Looks sweet though. haha, thank you! It's pretty dang low when aired out completely. If I had a thinner profile tire then the oil pan would hit the ground! Luckily the ride height is tall enough to...

More pictures... No more Motorsport Roundels (they went to shit after a couple of weeks), and a new sticker haha. Nothing's really changed on it, just been enjoying it and saving for some new stuff for the car! I can't get a break keeping it clean - it's been raining almost non-stop in Kansas City. ...

Nice shark! Bagged right? Where did you get the roundel, I have to have one! Thanks! yes, it's bagged. I got the roundels from Guten, but CATuned carries them as well. The thing with these Roundels, though, is that they deteriorate VERY quickly. My first set didn't even last a month before this sta...

Fresh Photos of the GRTWHT SHRK

Shot some photos this evening of my E24... I put on a new set of Motorsport Roundels and did a little bit of touch up paint to some spots. Lighting was perfect tonight for some shots! I have a set of fog lights that I still need to put on... https://farm8.staticflickr.com/7587/16863290916_40463f2f87...

This car's made quite the outfit change in a few months.... Painted rear spoiler, 18x10.5&11 BBS Style 5. The other changes are custom built by the owner, including the front splitters, side skirts, rear diffuser, and the mirror delete. The "War Paint" graphics in the last phase of the...

That is the TPS and yes it is possible an electrical connection is having an issue when the cover is placed correctly. Check the wires to make sure you don't have a broken connection somewhere. I should have a spare bracket/rubber ring available if you need it. Send a PM with pertinent info and I'l...

Did the ICV come out of the intake boot under its own steam? It looks to me as if the ICV may not be supported properly there; on my '87 the ICV is mounted on a bracket with a rubber support piece that surrounds the ICV body, so that it will stay put and isn't reliant on the fit into the boot alone...

Here's the culprit for the idle.... I feel stupid for not seeing it before hand. Plugged it back in and the Shark started to purr like a kitten. Thanks for the help, everyone. I appreciate it!

Does it happen whether the engine is hot or cold? What happens when you start it with the AFM disconnected? What happens when you disconnect the AFM while it's idling rough? The rough idle happens regardless of engine temperature I haven't disconnected the AFM yet, I plan on cleaning the ICV first ...

Rough Idle and odd sounds

My 1987 635csi L6 (4spd auto) developed a rough, surging idle in the past week, and the car has even stalled a couple of times when putting it in reverse. I have done a lot of research and all signs point towards vacuum leak. This weekend I will check that to diagnose and (hopefully) fix the issue. ...

Very few.... There is a 1984 635csi that the owner purchased new in Brussels, Germany and shipped overseas, two M6's (one under covers in a driveway near my friend's home and one Dinan example), and one red 635, a 1989 maybe, with World bumpers.

Looks great... With it being so low, how often do you change rear tires? I have owned the car just over three months now, and the car came with nearly-new tires, so I don't have an answer to that question yet. There is some serious rear camber in the rear for them to fit when aired out completely, ...
