Re: 1981 633 Wiring questions

Yes me again! So I have the car running now but it keeps shutting off after driving it for a while. The last time the car died, I checked if I still get fuel, which I did. Then I checked for spark and I did not get a spark at all. Playing around with the ballast resistor and all the connection and v...

Re: OBC Remote Not Working...?

There is also the possibility that the remote on the steering column has been replaced with a turn signal switch (cheaper) that does not have that feature. Does the handle actually move when you press it?

Re: What did you do to your E24 today?

Changed from summer to winter wheels. Topped off the transmission and swapped out the old, cracked front spoiler
with a new one that almost matches the color of the car. How cool is that?

Thanks Bobbo! For all I know the switch may not even be connected but it is the upper fan that blows. Good thing I got some extra micro switches :-)

Re: HVAC (old style) removal - any idea?

Oh Boy! Thanks guys! I guess I do not have a choice in the matter. Neither AC or heat can be turned on so I figure it has to be the switch

Re: 88 Tow Hook Cover Part# Mystery

They are backwards. I took the gamble a couple of years where, based on the part number I needed the left one but I had that part number on the right and sure enough, I was lucky and it worked out.

Re: Puff of smoke mystery solved

A while back I posted an issue that I had with an occasional puff of smoke that I was trying to explain. The puff did not happen all the time, mostly during warmer weather after sitting at a light for a while. The other day, while I was under the car replacing the fuel line between the fuel pump an...

Re: Timing Specs 77/78 M90 635CSi EURO

Klaus,
that is what I read also for my M90. Problem is that I do not see a timing mark at all at that RPM. I do see something at 1100 rpm that I think may be the timing mark. I do have still issues with my Throttle adjustment and get to my timing adventure again once I have that solved

Re: Where can I get seat covers?

https://www.lseat.com/categories/genuine-leather/recaro.html made me an offer after I asked if they also have the comfort seat covers. Not that I need any but thought about asking. They do not have any but offered me 50% off if I send them my old one so they can make a pattern. Like I said, I only h...

Those are way too nice and can be revived! Check into http://www.leatherique.com/
I have done my seats with that product. By far cheaper than getting new seat covers even though they're a steal.

Re: Walbro In Tank Pump

Alright, I think I got the problem figured out. If it is not the multi plug to the fuse box, it is the flap in the AFM being stuck in the closed position. If I put a screw driver in and open the flap, the pump starts going. Once that has happened the car runs fine.

Re: What did you do to your E24 today?

Tried to put my restored driver seat in and the fuses blew every time I tried to move the seat back. Problem seems to be in the harness since I tried to put all the electronics from the old seat in.
