My Series 1 Front Strut Brace

First, I totally apologize for hijacking the other thread if that's what it was! Very sorry, not intended! I just ground out the two inside holes that made it not fit. I elongated them and now the brace fits after being tapped into place. =D> I'm glad it still has to be tapped into place 'cau...

Re: Strut Tower Braces for early e24 (e12 based)

Guys: I just received the BMP Racing front strut tower brace from Derrick on the FirstFives forum. Buster has an E12 suspension. I laid it across Buster & it is a very close fit w/o trying to tap it in place! I only did it with the label reading from the headlights. Tomorrow I'll look at it with...

Song Scroll up in this same posting or whatever, to DUNDUN's post. You, being a tekkie, should know to investigate before asking? There are two phone #'s for the info you need! :-" #-o Tip: before applying, add a small film of oil/grease to the hub side so the spacer won't get bonded to the hub.

This will be fun. 8) Thanx for staying in touch! =D>

Re: Advice on rear suspension

On my Buster, the rear Bilstein HD shocks have external bump stops that need to be added on.
My front Bilstein Sports have internal bump stops. E12 suspension though.

WOW! Very nice find. The pristine dashboard stands out to me! Plus the clean interior! =D> Euros are the best. Having said that, I miss the air dam & spoiler. They tend to give it a sporty look w/o the cops really paying att'n. Also, if interested, Bert Poliakof should have the Euro stripes that...

He was very unique! I think that's what I admired most. Plus his musicianship. RIP Let's not forget about Natalie Cole! After her early drug addiction, which I believe took a toll on here young body. She got hooked up with a stupid drug dealer at 16! And we all know it takes years to finally know yo...

Re: Advice on rear suspension

It does look a tad lower but, you should measure with a metal tape at the front of the rear wheel well body to ground. Then, measure at the rear of the front wheel well to the same place. Make sure the tape measure is straight up & down. Pictures can play tricks. The whole parking lot appears to...

Ralph, Greg and everyone on the board, I have to disagree with the point of view that a salvaged titled car in CA is not worth anything near what the equivalent "non-salvage titled" example would bring [-X Sadly, the green shark also has a salvage title, an unfortunate situation that I ca...

Re: Purchasing a "Salvage Title" Six

Ralph is correct again, of course! You don't want to buy it at today's going rate for a non-salvaged car! BUT, you seem to know the car, because you know the a/c wasn't working before the vandalizing? This gives you a head start, in that you know what is or isn't wrong with it? Plus, that's a...
