Flywheel bolts .
Hi all . Compiling a list of items for a 265/6 installation. After checking the size of the flywheel to crankshaft bolts for the manual flywheel there seems to be confusion on RealOEM and W&N sites as to whether they are M12 x 1.5 x 22 or M12 x 1.5 x 28 . Can anyone confirm the correct size for ...

Re: What did you do to your E24 today?
Bumper/valance/rubbers assembled and installed on the car. The shop painted the used licence plate center rubber to clean it up. Does anyone know of a better matching black paint that would match/blend with the color of the factory front bumper rubber? Or a pristine license plate center rubber. It'...

Re: No start .
To conclude the thread . The non start problem was caused by an open circuit speed sensor . The ref, sensor was within spec at 960 ohms but the speed o/c but despite the belief that the speed sensor would only cause rough running on mine it prevented start. The other issue found was a o/c coil on t...

Re: What did you do to your E24 today?
Resolved a non start problem I've had for a month now . After much head scratching and fault finding aplenty, issue was traced to an open circuit speed sensor . In the journey I removed an old ,but expensive and well fitted, alarm /immobiliser, found the main relay coil open circuit and learned a gr...

Hi, I can't help with the diagram but I do have the same model and it's not going anywhere soon so if you need to try an ECU swap or something, that could be arranged. jps635, any chance I could also have a copy of that diagram? Yep , I agree, it looks magnificent .
The stripes really finish the body detail and always look nicer in the light silver .
I'm so glad you elected to go with the Rial's too .
I wish you lots of enjoyment with it , you deserve it .

Re: No start .
Pretty sure that relay is in the engine bay beside the fuse box in my '81 635. A tap with a screwdriver has got me out of trouble with that a few times. I would also suggest checking the crank sensor and its connection above the fuel rail. I could be wrong but I don't think you'll get fuel or spark...

Re: No start .
You can temporarily install a jumper between 87 and 30. These are the contacts. If the relay is bad, you should run with the jumper. Just do not leave it there! Thanks Ross already did this and there was still no spark. Looking into it further this relay, Bosch 0332014112, is specifically for fuel ...
