Re: What do you think the best looking rims are for the shark?

Given yours is an "M', and mine is not, maybe that is the difference.

Right now mine looks very high at front, she looks like a space shuttle coming in to land..

Re: Any Aust members live near Leeming W.A.?

Hi Gentlemen. Thanks for your offers of help. i ended up doing two things, I did get a pre purchase inspection done through your RAC, AND i jumped on a plane and flew over to see the car for myself. News is deal is done, now just trying to work out who to use to ship it to melbourne.. only got home ...

Re: The poor abandoned 635csi..

Okay. on the basis of your response about the paint, it sounds like a re-spray is in order. i would repaint the same colour for two obvious reasons; 1, it is cheaper than a full re-color, as you don't have to do the inners and engine bay. 2, it retains the factory specification... No. 2 is the big o...

Re: The poor abandoned 635csi..

Looking good,... very good. Are you still thinking about color change? If the answer is yes, i would urge you to stop and think about it first. By the look of your latest photo, i think the car looks very good, apart, of course of the mis-matched bonnet. I suggest that to spend the money in a color ...

Re: People that lean against your car......

Scratching paint is not cool by careless people, but When I take the 85 m635 or the 63 Tr-4 out I make sure if there are Kids there (Car Show, club event, Family event) that they get in the car sit inside and play with the steering wheel and buttons. I love when they ask if the radio works or if it...

Removal off dashboard vent "Plugs"...

Hi everyone. Is there a trick when it comes to removing the plastic "plugs" or "caps" that cover the screws that hold the vents that run across the top of the dashboard? I have stared at them, even with a pointed knife in hand, but can't think of a way to get them out without dam...

24 Hours can be interesting when it comes to restoring an E24

Well.... This time yesterday i was asking for help and advice to try and start the restoration process of my recently acquired 635. Today, and can tell you all this car is now FOR SALE, as i stumbled across a MINT 635 that was available, and i jumped on it. The car was part of the heritage collectio...

Honey, i think i shrunk the leather....

As this pic shows, the buffalo leather in my car has shrunk quite a bit, no doubt because of no attention being paid to feeding the leather for years..... My question is obvious.. can anyone suggest a way of stretching it? Or do i have no choice but to attempt to replace it... Any input would be app...
