Getrag 5-speed Overdrive w Prop Shaft and Shifter
Removed from a 1985 635csi and is complete with shifter assembly as pictured and propeller shaft. The gearbox turns freely and the gears shift well. This was removed from a former driving car who fuel pump failed and was parked until parted out. I gladly send more pics and in higher resolution. It i...

Is this an M90?
Hello E24ers, I have access to this engine and would like to seek the input of those that know the difference between the M30 and M90. Is this an M90 or has someone put an early intake manifold on a later 3.5 block? I have done a fair bit of research but trying to interpret it all has me questioning...

Getrag CR Dogleg and 3.07 Sideloader LSD - Expression of Interest
Hello All, I have a Getrag dogleg close ratio 5-speed box I am considering selling. It is still in a car (1980 633csi) so can be driven. Equally I have a 3.07 Sideloader LSD with oil cooler. This is the LSD intended for this gearbox as far as I understand. To complete this setup I have the correspon...

Don't forget to check the relay also. Those can give out after a while too.

Style 5's certainly are "the look" for most BMWs and the 6 series is no exception. Looks good!

Re: Sunroof Non Tilt
I have just removed the blower from a car that I parted out. If you need one, reach out and let me know. It is a bit of a job to get out though! Cheers.

Re: how many 635's have you encounter? (Encountered)
This is a great thread and was just talking to someone about the rarity of E24 6ers. While I have now driven many many miles in many countries, I could count on one hand and at most on two how many I have seen just in passing. Sure a good number can be found at club meetings and drives, but in just ...

Callaway Turbo E24
Hi All I recently purchased an E24 633csi (1980) with a Callaway turbo setup. I also have an E9 and the plan was to transplant that motor but am starting to wonder whether the E9 really needs all the extra power and concerns with reliability/more maintenance. The E24 would then go back to being norm...

Re: side gutter trim
Good thread. I had two parts cars with trims and tried removing the ones that were good ever so carefully and only managed to get on off successfully with no damage and minimal bending only. Certainly would be good to know if BMW officially installed these for the life of the car with no intention o...
