After you reset the lights, they are only supposed to be on when you turn on the ignition and go out after you started the engine. I guess, since this has not happened to me yet either that the lights are coming on as you drive miles on it. I just recently found the instructions that tell you how to...

Is this normal?
Put the rear wheel back on on Saturday and noticed that there is some "play" in the rear wheel when I put the bolts back in and tightened them up. Is that normal or what is broken?

Shear off screws
Chris, thanks again! I do have the CD also but could not find any mention in there. I do have the handicap with my computer since I have Vista  and the CD requires Adobe 4.0 (nothing higher) and this disables the search function. I came up to the point where I am thinking that the four shear o...

Very, very creative! I can imagine this pulling up behind me on the Autobahn flashing the lights.....
Sure looks different though.

Shear off screws
From the way it looks, Chris is right. I do not see any reason why the 4 shear off screws should be replaced. Once I got #5 out and I turned the key from the locked to the unlocked position, I could slide the cylinder right out. The next question I have is how do I get the rest out? Does that wire h...

Shear off screws
Chris,
so #5 and #6 are the only things that hold that tumbler in place? In other words, if I remove #5 I should be able to slide that thing out with the cables still attached?
BTW, I make sure I am taking plenty of pictures and do a good write-up.
Thanks all for the help!

My 635 is 11/84 and I removed the shear off screws (see pictures) but now I am stuck since I can not seem to find the other screw from there (picture).

I am trying to replace the ignition steering wheel lock since I got new (to me) doors with a better lock in each door and do not want to mess with the doorlocks either.

The "off part" is not what I am concerned with. It is the back on part. Do I get the replacements at the "Stealership"?

Steering gear box mount (Horizontal)
Thanks Chris! I did find the other end (of the horizontal bolt) right next to the engine mount, (duh!) Had to look with a flashlight and found out that one has to be a contortionist to get that 17 mm open end wrench to hold that nut. I know I could have used a 17 mm socket which would have made it a...
