I'll second the ATE rotors. I got slotted ATE from Tire Rack, I believe, and I have been very happy with them. I'm running the original brake set up for my M635.

Yeah, I'd like to know where you bought the angled bracket as well. Do you have a part #?

If it's done cleanly, like alpinacsi's is, I think it looks fine. I've done the bent plate route as well, but I like the clean look of the factory? bracket.

The not so good news: the CAT was completely clogged and from there back doesn't look great either, so now I am looking for a new (or possibly only new to me, but good condition) exhaust. You mentioned the tappets are different between the M88 and S38. Is one better than the other (ie: better wear characteristics, something else)? Could they be easily swapped during an engine rebuild, or would it require more machining than it's worth?
