Rancid popcorn I say. Some of the new Fiats and others are painted as you'd paint a house a boring flat house paint color YUK Or in the case in this i8 "Bold Urine"

WOW! Thanks a bunch, I have heard rumors of 1,200 before but seeing it print lends some weight to this idea. I phoned BMW USA head office but got no where with them. Mine has the date as 12/86 so classified as 1987 on VIN insurance etc.

Nigel your 6 is amazing!! the colour on the body is simply spectacular, and the detail on the calipers is posh! I still don't know what it is about BMW's TRX 1 rims. I just find them very sexy, it's kinda like Betty Page or Marilyn Monroe, classy yet sexy in a retro kinda way.

Simple angluar five spoke AZEV wheels outside Casino Royale. 16x7.5 which is close to the original TRX rims fitted. Looks like my TRX's after I used Meguires Aluminum rim cleaner, but I scrubbed too hard and took the paint right off one of them!

Re: Losing Brake Pedal When Engine Running
Hi Ian, I know what you mean by e-bay purchases! but it is a genuine ATE master cylinder which is the same as the one fitted from new by the factory, carries the same part number and came from a brake specialist company in Germany. I don't think it is fake but I do think it is faulty! cheers Nigel....

I saw one on Friday at work, it was one that I wanted to buy 2-3 years ago from this old lady in her 60's, she did not want to sell either, she was driving it still HAHAH! Problem she smoked in it, it was the dark brown colour, I forgot the name of this colour. Burnt Sienna?

Re: What do you think the best looking rims are for the shark?
Not impossible to get the Metric tires, just very, very pricy. Although it'll be even more so in Australia, what with shipping and import duty. U.S. prices today: 220/55VR390: $331 each 240/55VR390: $398 each and those with the 415 diameter wheels, hold on to you beer and have a seat.... 240/45VR41...

Re: JB Weld Extreme Heat
The only thing I've done with VHT was paint calipers on previous vehicles, it lasted a long time but I brushed it on and put thick coats on. I sprayed into the cap and proceeded with a brush. It looked great. VHT should be fine under there, just make sure you have a clean surface, and mask out the o...

Feeler for oil pan for sale?
Good day gentlemen Sonja needs an oil pan badly, just putting this out there as a feeler to see what's out there. Cheers guys I'm in Canada on the West Coast. The engine is a 12th month of 1986 M30. It's regarded as a 1987 on many accounts. I do believe the power plant is a B34 M30. Thanks again peo...

Went on a 400km+ trip yesterday my longest trip yet with Sonja, got her up on the highway at 4000 rpm to get the M30 to "Breathe" for a bit, I'm not going to post my speed though. Lets just say it was adequate.

Re: Rear spoiler tape?
Oh for sure! just make sure you scuff up both sides, trunk lid and spoiler. I used the 3M method when I owned an e28 and it lasted for a long while. But use the 3M high quality don't skimp out.
